Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in mechanical engineering Faculity student ratio will be 1:4 Majority of our faculty are experienced in their field Majority of them will do graduation and their high education from IITs Midsems are conducted after one months approx you may say average difficulity level in passing exams

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students are allowed in placement and from 6th semester students are eligible for internship There will be more than 85% students are placed Highest package is 60 LPA average package is 8.5LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is relatively high from government college point of view there must be i think that college have to give relaxation There will be only fee wavier students got relaxation for generally students take scholarship from central and state government

There will be great annual and tech fest will occur in college Books are available in library There will be Aagaz our sports fest held by our campus our sports activities are better There are more than 10 clubs run by students

Admission

You must be pass your 12th with minimum 60% Counselling will be done separately on the basis of your JEE MAINS rank There should be 3 phase of online counselling and if seats remain then there will be one additional round online and after that one offline counselling will be done in campus if seat remains vacant in additional round

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats. Counselling goes for three round.If not get selected, you can try last time in spot round if seats are vacant. Only students with jee mains result will get admission....Read More
