- Library is not present throughout. It closes at 9pm
- Sometimes trisemester can be hectic but eventually will fall in place
- Connectivity to railway station or airport can be a bit difficult
Course Curriculum Overview
XIME has got a curriculum which provides a blend of practical as well as theoretical experience to the students. Specially their SUPA (Socially Useful and Productive Activity) gives immense experience to the students and provides them with an opportunity to work with an NGO. Internship offers are also absolutely good and they even offer PPOs (preplacement offers).
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities will be provided by the college itself in various domains and students are also free to choose a company from outside as per their choices. Some companies which offer internships sometimes convert them into placements as well.
Placement Experience
The placement process starts in the second year and some students get their internships converted into PPOs. EY and KPMG are two of the big fours that come to the campus. Many other notable companies like Accenture, Oracle, British Telecom, Infosys, Schneider and many more companies visit XIME for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is at par with the quality the college offers and it includes the hostel fee as well. They provide financial assistance as well as scholarships to the deserving ones and also motivates the students to get them.
Campus Life
Life at campus is absolutely enjoyable as XIME has got a diverse set of students from different parts of the country. XIME conducts an annual fest called XIMERA where students initiate and conduct the whole program. XIME Winter fest is also conducted in the month of December for encouraging XIME Bangalore, Kochi and Chennai students.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is provided by XIME for all the students as the course provided is a residential one. The hostels rooms are convenient and well maintained. The meals provided are of decent quality and the menu is changed frequently as per the students requirement.
Admission
XIME admissions are purely based on merit basis. They look into MAT/CAT/XAT scores and the overall academic performance. The application forms and fee details are mentioned clearly in their website. The college has a got a good diversity of students as well.
Interview Experience
The admission process is on a merit basis and the candidates have to undergo a GD as well as an interview. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT/ XAT/MAT scores. Later they have to undergo a group discussion and post GD an interview session.
