Course Curriculum Overview
I personally was interested in the course of Mechanical engineering due to the subjects offered by this program. the faculties are very good. the student to faculty ratio is about 20:1. exams are conducted as per schedule though some changes in schedule occur generally.
Internships Opportunities
At hbtu ExxonMobil Hull a lot of chemical technology companies come from internships with a handsome amount of stipend and here motor companies also come for internships. Some students get internships at isro drdo too.
Placement Experience
Placement is generally good on the campus though it depends from branch to branch. most of the students get placed on the campus itself. The highest package offered was 22lakh and the average package is around 5 lakhs. from the 7th semester, a student is eligible for placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of the university for btech programs is 135000 since it became a university from the college. Students can apply for the scholarship offered by the state government of Uttar Pradesh. if you are eligible for the scholarship then you will definitely get a scholarship.
Campus Life
Every year college conducts its cultural fest as well as technical fests. AARAMBH is conducted every year. the library has almost all the books and it opens at 7 pm. Certain departments have air-conditioned classrooms. sports fest Adhyayan is conducted every year.
Hostel Facilities
hostels mostly are located in another campus which is 6km away from the main campus. food depends on hostel to hostel. food is average. registration for hostel id via the ERP portal of the university. hostel culture is good.
Admission
Admission was based on the rank of JEE MAINS. HBTU has its own counseling process. HBTU offers btech programs and other programs also. To get admitted as a Mechanical engineer, the JEE MAINS rank of a general candidate must be below 100000.
