Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties are good in almost all departments. There is one-semester exam per semester and 4 MB exams which happen at the end of the first, second, third and fourth years. The semester exams are easier to pass than the MB exams.
Internships Opportunities
There is a compulsory rotatory internship after passing the Final MB exam. During the internship, you get the opportunity to get exposed to various branches of the medical field like medicine, surgery, ObGyn, and paediatrics and also meet various PGTs and get advice from them.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is minimal because it is a state-run college. The only cost is the cost of books and study materials required during the course as the syllabus is huge. Financial assistance can be applied if the family income is less. After passing the final MB exam, you have to give 1-year compulsory rotatory internship, for which you get a monthly stipend of around 29k.
Campus Life
The campus life is vibrant. The annual fest which occurs in the month of September, is the largest med fest in Eastern India. Books are available in the library for which you have to apply for a library card. The classrooms are nice and equipped with Air Conditioning and projectors. There are several co-curricular clubs like Broca Quiz Club, Broca Debate Club, Playtelet Drama Club, Art Club, etc.
