Course Curriculum Overview

Since HBTU is one if the oldest college in India with hundered years of legacy and excellence. Mechanical engineering is the core and best branch in this college. HBTU has 1: 8 sex ratio. We've IIt grad. faculties here+ some who studied overseas.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible to sit in placements from 6th semester. Colleges provides good number of placements, with highest package of 60lpa, and with average of 8lpa. 60% of sutudents get placed by the campus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

HBTU btech course fees is little bit higher as compared to other govt. colleges in UP. It charges 135000/- per year where as other charges fee

Campus Life

Here it comes the biggest fests of HBTU,Adhyaay, Arambh, Agaaz and many more. It provides best oppurtuinity to show you extra curriculum skills, and it helps to remove the social vulnerability of hesitation, lack of confidence and many human socially related probs.

Hostel Facilities

So hostels, they are pretty good, with full wifi facility. Hostels provided single and triple sitting facility for the residents. Meals are pretty good here, we come over here to get all breakfast, eveing snacks and dinner.

Admission

I've taken H.B.T.U. on the basis of JEE MAIN rank in specialization in mechanical engineering. HBTU is one of the oldest college in India and it provides good atmosphere of knowledge and competition. It provides good placements.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

One has to clear JEE for admission in HBTU in which one has to get rank in thousand for CSE .Those with lower rank can try the sports round once, in which there are more chances of losing admission in lower branch like FT OT. All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
