Course Curriculum Overview
I choose electronics and communication as my course as my rank was not up too par for cse. The faculty is good merit wise , some are good but few dont care what you do and are not cooperative. most of faculty members are PhD holders. exams are conducted 3 times in a semester and its not easy to score .
Placement Experience
students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. more than 200 companies visited the campus last year. major companies are Tata Steel, Mahindra, Humming Wave, tcs, bsnl, jio, and Zomato. highest on-campus placement is 42lpa while off-campus it is 54lpa. about 25% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees are 90k for 1 year, mess fees are 15k for 1 semester and hostel fees are 24300 for a year. The scholarship which you can avail of mainly is up government scholarship i.e. dasymeter scholarship if you meet its criteria. you can also avail of various private scholarships as well.
Campus Life
College's main fest is Abhinaya which is a three-day event. it is usually conducted in February. several unofficial fest of different societies are also conducted in throw out the year. the college contains a large library (3 floors) where you can find all the books related to your course. College lacks a bit of sports activities. various societies include code, editorial board, code hack, and finance club.
Hostel Facilities
room in hostels are not so spacious . there are 2 types of room available 2 and 4 accommodated. the meal at mess is decent and above average. you can apply for a hostel during physical reporting. hostel at starting are not provided to local students of Gorakhpur.
Admission
You have to clear the jee mains exam for admission to this institute. admission is strictly based on jee rank. jee exam is conducted by the NTA and its form is available on the the NTA official site. exam is conducted twice a year. if you are an ST, SC student you can avail a good about of benefits here.
