Life of B.Tech student in JNTUK

The course i chose is according to my interest in electrical subjects.The faculty are quite helpful in clarifying doubts but we need to learn the subjects through youtube and websites for better understanding.The qualification of faculty are mostly PhD.The teaching method is interactive and not boring at all.The mid exams are once every 2 months(2mids in a semester) followed by semester exams.We need to write 2 mid exams in a day and one sem exam in a day without any preparation holidays in between.

The internships done in our college are from Vizag Steel Plant and APTRANSCO in our 3-2 semester.The internships available in 4-1 semester have stipend upto 15000 per month. The projects done and outcome of projects is strictly verified and is very much related to indutrial exposure in core subjects.

The students are eligible for campus placements from 3-2 semester onwards.Nearly 15 companies have visited or college with highest package of 20LPA to lowest package of 5 LPA. Nearly 85% of students gets placed every year.The overall placements in our college are failry good even with recession present.My plans after getting the degree is to join in my placement offered Job which is of 6 LPA.

The fees structure is very reasonable,just 10000 per year.A few additional charges upto 2000 may add up for exams and other events.The library is equipped with all kinds of books,so buying less textbooks is suggested. Scholarship are provided for students through KEATS, Govt ,etc.The internships we do in final year provide upto 15000 per month as stipend.

Fest is conducted anually in all departments with different names such as Encurso,etc. Workshops are conducted monthly based on new industrial topics. The books required for course structure and other research topics are all available in Library seamlessly. The classrooms are well maintained everyday. Sports and extra curricular activites are conducted all the time around the year with prize money also. We have general club activites conducted once a month during our free time.

The eligibility to join in our college is through EAMCET rank.There are limited seats nearly 60 in each department and reservations also help in joining.The application form,fees are all provided through EAMCET Website through counselling.The college degree has so much value and is well reputed.The cut off for EEE in normal category is nearly 3000 in rank.If you have reservation u can consider upto 10000 in rank.
