LNCT Bhopal review

My course is Btech in CSE. I chose this course because of its widespread applications and opportunities. Faculty to student ratio here is around 1:20, which is good enough. Faculties here are good, they teach you by increasing your curiosity and they clear all our doubts and help in all way possible. They have phDs in their field and have good subject and practical knowledge. Term exams happen 2 times in a semester and they are little hard to pass, but by the help of teachers you get good knowledge and exams become easy to pass.

Internship opportunities are not very high. They are generally around 15000-20000 per month. And less students get internships. Most of the student try for offcampus internship. But you can get internships if you are good at coding.

Students become eligible for placements in 7th semester. Total number of offers made in all LNCT group of colleges were around 5000 last year. Average package was 5 LPA. The companies with higher packages were Deutsche Bank 24 LPA, VMware 20 LPA, Cisco 15 LPA etc. Other companies visited were TCS, Infosys etc.

Fees hike is dependent on college, but is not very high. Cost to study is good you get a good placement at the end. The average placements are around 5 LPA but there were around 1000 placements above 5 LPA in LNCT group of colleges. There are several scholarships provided but they are provided by state government like medhavi chatra etc.

Initially on the first day of college we had a great inauguration program. Then there was held a Garba night during Navdurga festival. Then sports competitions were held. There will also be a freshers party soon. Also an yearly fest of art, culture is held and also an engineering fest. Library is good with enough books but they lack some out of course books like on humanities, social science, arts etc. Classroom has sufficient amenities like smartboard etc. Extra curricular activities on campus are less, as seniors do not live in campus hostels, but the sports facilities are okayish. We also have canteen. There are not many clubs as I said, the only I know is coding and alumni clubs, this is what I don't like as we do not get personality development. Also there are restrictions on timing.

Hostel facilities are good. Our room has bed, bedsheet, almirah, book shelf, table chair, bathroom, window and balcony. Room looks very neat, also we get daily cleaning of room and bathroom. Meal quality is little low, we do not get full nutritious meal and taste is poor. Registration process for hostel is done at the admission time only, it's overall affordable. The price is 90000 per year.

The admission process is based on the result of JEE entrance exam. Eligibility was a minimum of 60% in class 12th board exam. Application form, fees and dates can be accessed from the MPDTE counseling website, as the admission is done by MPDTE counseling. Reservation benefits are as per said by government. Admission process was good and convenient.
