College environment is very good for studies as well for extra activities such as sports or stage performances.

Dislikes

Late fees charges are very high as they charge 1000-2000 for some days late fees and it increases by time.
Fees refund policy is very poor and it takes so large time to get refunded

Course Curriculum Overview

* I am a medium student and doing part time job in the morning time and college has evening classes of BA also so I choosed BA in this college. *Faculty students ratio is about 20:350 * the teachers of the college are well mannered and well qualified masters and some has PhDs degree. *Exam were held semester wise and tests are taken by the teachers almost in Every 2nd month.

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

*Fees of the college for BA is about 11000 yearly and semester wise payable 8000 in odd and 3000 in Even semesters approximately. *Nsp scholarship for general , Dr.Br Ambedkar scholarship for sc st * clerks are helping by nature and are available as financial assistant.

Campus Life

*Diwali festival, lohri festival January, youth festival, sports day ( 3 days) , giddha bhangra and cultural programs , singing acting activities for entertainment and development and many more. *Books of every type are available in the college library ( syllabus, story, science literature etc) magazines and newspapers are also available anytime. * Classrooms are neet and clean having 2-3 windows in each ,fan light etc are available for comfortable environment for students. * Sports teams are their with the good guidance of sports teachers cricket basketball teams are official teams of college, Ncc activities are very attentive in our college. * @Pu.Notification ,@justconfessit2k23 on Instagram.

Admission

*Addmission process was good I have applied for admission in BA and I get notification from college website @scdgovtcollegeldh on email and sms for addmission confirmation within a month. *My frnd was in that college and the college too is popular in Ludhiana as it is govt college and I get form from college's website. Application begin mostly in may June and 1st semester fees with addmission fees I gave around 8000 ruppes. *Reservation benefits are availed later by the Sc st OBC students with the scholarship forms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I study Psychology, Computer Science and Elective English. I love everything about Psychology. The whole course structureis perfect, and they focus on practicality as well. What I don't like about Computer Science is the lack of practical experience. Exams are fairly easy and are conducted twice per semester. Mid Semester exams are short and the duration is one week. And the finals can go for as long as one and a half month.

. I applied CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY (CU) college and I also got confirmed seat. but I don't choose this college because of their high fees and was in other district. I choose SCD GOVT.
