What Students Say
Likes
- I liked the clubs of St Xaviers Ranchi. There organise a variety of event and provide great exposure for students. It is a great way to network.
- I like the faculty. The professors are not very strict and the classes are decent.
Dislikes
- The compulsory 75% attendance is very difficult to make up for.
- The reservation for st and sc is really high.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a little tough and requires time and effort to get through. The faculty is great and the professors are decent so far. I wanted to go for MBA in finance in the future so it seemed like the perfect course. The girl: boy ratio is 40:60
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is pretty decent. For the first year, you have to pay it in a lump sum and for the rest of the two years you can go for instalments. Xaviers provides internships and jobs but the job guarantee is not 100%
Campus Life
The Campus is great. We have three canteens and a lot of open areas. There are a lot of clubs which provide lots of opportunities and exposure to students. The library is open to all and has a variety of books. There is a gym and hostel facilities are available for male students. Classrooms are also well-equipped
Admission
There was no entrance exam. It was on the basis of merit. I am from the general category so there was no reservation. The eligibility as far as I remember is 70%. The course is really good. You get knowledge of every sector of finance.
