- The north campus of nie is located in a isolated area
- The campus is still on the making phase so we have to compromise on few things
- The hostel is near South campus which is 15 km from North campus
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is of VTU belgavi as it is affiliated to it.NIE is an autonomous college under VTU. Most of the faculty are friendly and nice except and few.Not knowing the local language i.e kannada may bring some problem as some lab assistant doesn't know other languages, but if u have good kannada friend it will be fine.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are quite good as I heard from senior,They told that JPMC and fidelity come to give internship to second year students and of they are good enough they also recieved pre placement offer
Placement Experience
The campus placements are quite good the average package is cse was 12lpa highest was 54lpa and for ise AVG was 12.85 lpa and highest was 33 lpa. The major recruiters are Mercedes Benz r&d,Jpmc, fidelity etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is the same for all comedk colleges i.e 244347 p.a + skill lab fees + hostel mess fees, it will reach approximately 400000 Per annum at last. The job opportunities are quite good with avg 12.85 for ise and 12.00 for cse
Campus Life
If you are coming for fests then it's not the next you can get. The clubs and fests are only good for mechanical. The clubs like force ikshvaku and saeniks are the good ones. In mechanical fests cars like Porsche Ferrari Lamborghini are brought to the campus
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is quite good. It's a three sharing room for all students. The food u get is pure veg. We get breakfast lunch snacks and dinner. There is a gym, badminton court, playing ground and canteen in the hostel area.
Admission
The admission process was through comedk uget. Comedk uget is the admission process for all top private colleges of Karnataka. My comedk rank was 8247 and I was allotted information science and engineering in the third round of councelling.Its ranks 5th in comedk colleges after RVCE,BMSCE,MSRIT and SJCE(JSS & STU).The average package of NIE(ISE Branch) is 12.85Lpa and median is 12 LPA
