Likes
- Diversity: students come here from many states to study here so we get to experience different people
- Placement and opportunities: most students get placed in companies and the fees isn't much for that
- Return of investment, you invest 5 lakhs and for that you get good infrastructure, canteen , grounds teachers placements, jobs
Dislikes
- I don't like the concept of 75% attendence, you have to have 75% attendence or else you can't sit in exam
- I don't like how strict it is, everywhere there's camera and you are being monitored
- I don't like how crowdy it gets in canteen during lunch break because too many students from lncte and lncts come as well and lnctu too
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course because I wanted to do BE in a college which provides good placements and was in my city or near it and was relatively cheaper as per private colleges standards. 1 teacher teaches 70 students and teachers in top branches like CSE are best and in lower cuttoff branches they are not that good. Most teachers did btech and masters and some did bsc too teaching method is moderate there's midsem exam in every month and a semester exam when the semester I about to end and they do not inform prior for midsem they tell it 3 days before exams of midsem it's easy to pass them though atleast in 1st semester.
Internships Opportunities
Infosys, cognizant, persistent, ibm, tcs all these companies provides internships in college they train you in that while doing that, coding projects c++, Java and other languages for mechanical they give to tasks and projects for automobiles and stuff and so on
Placement Experience
From 6th semeste students become eligible for campus placements, ibm, cognizant, tech Mahindra, oracle, Infosys, tcs, persistent, and many other companiesv visited 90% students had placements, highest package was 1.12 cr and average is 5 lakh, my plan after degree is to get a good job placement or else I'll do masters
Fees and Financial Aid
Cost to study in this college is 1.19 lakhs per annum, fees might get higher in next year as it did in this year by some thousand ?, you get scholarships if you got 80+% in 12th and 10th boards, and for sc/st too there's a fee waiver scholarship too. the jobs you can get in campus with average they will pay you 5 lakhs per annum approx for start.
Campus Life
I'm in 1st sem, annual fests happens and tech fest keep happening every now and then in different months recently a sports event took place too that anyone good can took part in and give audition for, you don't have to buy books everything's there in library. Canteen is there with big menu so you don't have to be hungry if you forgot lunch, projectors are there in classroom. WhatsApp groups are made and run by students and many clubs like music club are there
Admission
The process of admission is through jee mains exam and 10+2 with pcm, the cuttoff is different for different branches for CSE it's 85+ percentile, this year the cuttoff for every stream is higher than previous years and it's getting better year by year you can find the application form through offline and online modes both it's affiliated with rgpv, yes reservation benifits are there in this college PWD 3% OBC 15% ST 7.5% SC 27% Admission process is easy through mpdte you fill up the form and you'll get either get selected or rejected also you can put up other colleges in that mpdte form (online) or you can get in through college level councelling in lnct, I would like it if it were to be smoother and it site worked better.
