- Placements as a 2024 batch it is hard for us to get placed
- Fee structure of hostel even though competition is more they should have considered all categories students before designing the fee structure
- Few faculty even few faculty are good at teaching, some faculty need to be replaced
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Information technology, I was much intrested in this course compared to other courses while I was selecting a course. In our class we have 66 students and in each department there will be 30 faculty members while there are total of 12 classes in each department (including all 4 years). Faculty is quite good at teaching but every student needs there own scheduled time for studying to get more good at subject. As our college is a autonomous college, all the papers are prepared by our own faculty and correction is also done by our own faculty so it is not as difficult as other colleges
Placement Experience
From 3-2 students are eligible for placements. Even though placement percentage is high for our college due to resession this year no.of companies visited are low. No.of companies visited are nearly 15 and offers made are from 100-150. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4.25lpa. and all the companies offered for a position of software developer intern role. As I got placed in a USTglobal I continue to work as a role they offered after the completion of my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure for our college varies for each department, when I joined my fees was 96000(without including other fees such as jntu fees and so on) and it will be same for me throughout my 4 years. But for juniors fees structure varies and they have to follow that. Normally in our college placement percentage is comparatively good but due to resession no.of companies visited are too less so no.of people who got placed are also too less. Even though I got placed in one of the well reputed companies, getting an offer letter may takes time. I got a job as software developer intern in USTglobal with 4 lpa package
Campus Life
Our college is famous for fests, if we calculate then for every month there will be a fest in different genres. Library is available in our college in which all the books students needed are available. Classrooms are well organised with benches, blackboard along with digital board and projector. Different groups are available they are named as cameclub, scope club and so on....cameclub is responsible for conducting all the fests in our college and scope club is responsible for technical related programs
Hostel Facilities
College hostel is quite expensive, it costs 1 lakh for each student. The facilities it include is bed along with a rack for your luggage, hot water, dhobi for washing clothes, food includes weekly schedule, and the food quality and taste is too good. Immediately after taking admission for college we have to take admission for hostel because competition is high for college hostel seats.
Admission
I admitted into the college through college entrance exam i.e TSEAMCET. Immediately after the result of exam we have to apply for different colleges based on previous year cutoff of each college in official website. There will be 3 rounds i.e if you don't like the college that you are in then you can use the other 2 rounds. Even you don't get as many opportunities as 1st round but there are still few opportunities.I got selected in the first round itself into this college. During my admission it is a covid time, so everything is not as usual. But I guess admission process in TS is not difficult, everything will be done in no time with flow
