Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very well designed, college is not just focusing on theoretical aspects but also focusing on practical knowledge. Exams are not very difficult and also college is not entirely focusing on exams but also focusing on lot of assignments and practical projects for better understanding. Talking about teaching methodology college provides Harvard business case based study material which is very much helpful this was one of the reason I personally joined this college, secondly faculties are good and most of them have PhD. with industrial background which is cherry on the top for the students for gaining more practical insights. Faculty student ratio is good, set of students are assigned to their mentors which help them to clear their doubts one on one more easily.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure increases every year which most of the PGDM/MBA colleges do. But comparing my current fees structure 12L (including hostel) with other colleges I feel its pretty much decent considering ROI factor, Again, college also provides various scholarship opportunities for merit based students and financial aid to needy students which helps them to get some relaxation on program fees.
Campus Life
Campus is small and peacfull, There are various core & non core clubs in our campus (i.e Finitiative, HRuday,Markxime, Xelens etc.) which conducts various events for students, every year our college conducts fest named Quest where various other colleges participates in various events. Infrastucture is decent with availibility of all basic needs also college has basketball court, badminton court, football ground and various indoor games for students.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is mandatory for all students since, it is a residential program. Hostel is very well maintained with all basic facilities like., hot water, room cleaning etc. In one room 2 students can be accommodated and each student get seperate study table and cupboards, Food is decent again it depends on the taste of individuals, some might like but some may not.
Admission
Admission process was via entrance exam, Xime Kochi accept many exams like CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT etc. I personally applied through CMAT from college website itself. After submitting application the college took few days for profile evaluation this was phase 1 shortlisting, after that in phase 2 Online Group Discussion (GD) was conducted followed by Personal Interview (PI) and offers were given based on merit Overall, it was smooth process.
Interview Experience
Talking about college admission process, I applied through CMAT exam. Once, my profile was shortlisted in phase 1, I attended Online Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) and I was waitlisted for few days because of seats getting full but after sometime I was offered provisional admission letter based on merit.
