Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because since childhood, I had a serious interest in knowing about how the body works. I was always curious that how one fall ill. Apart from those it's one of most noble profession which deals with the health of people. Also, it was the dream of my parents. Now coming to my college, the faculty:student student ratio is pretty good. Our batch consists of 250 students and there are atleast 10 faculties in each branch ( much more in clinical branches). The Lecture theatres are equipped with all required modern teaching aids with centralised AC facility. Each of the faculty had done PG in the concerned branch and have a handsome experience of teaching medicos. The teaching methodology is pretty decent. We have internal exams once in every 3 months and an annual MB exam. Well, it's a bit difficult to score good in MB exams, but with regular study and hardwork, one can score a distinction in the same.
Internships Opportunities
After completing the 4.5 years of study, one has to serve compulsory rotatory internship in the college. You'll be awarded with a monthly stipend of around ?35000. After getting the degree , you can opt for PG by giving another entrance exam or can apply for the post of Medical Office under State Government.

It's really a boon for the students coming from economically weaker sections. After the course of 4.5 years, one has to serve compulsory rotatory internship and will be paid a monthly stipend of around ?35000 ( differs state to state).
