My Good Experience during my time in SASTRA

I opted for CSE but I had a great interest in coding. I joined through stream 2. Faculty members are so well educated in their fields that every faculty specializes in some domain. Teaching is great at SASTRA. They use the smart board for teaching. Internals happen every 35-40 days once 3 CIA takes place , best among two is selected Difficulty depends the question paper setter faculty

Internship offering companies come in the 6th semester Many companies like OPTUM, Fidelity, JPMorgan, WellsFargo and Paypal,Transunion provided intern Intern stipend for all the companies were in the range from 35k to 90k . Stuednts can also Semester Abroad Program in the final semester instead of an internship

Students in the 7th semester are allowed to sit in full time placements and there should be no standing arrears Students in the 6th semester can sit for companies who are providing summer interns alone which happens in may-july end Many high paying companies like Paypal, Wellsfargo, Amazon, JPMorgan, Optum, Fidelity visit SASTRA Highest package in the year 2023-2024 was provided by Paypal which is around 34 lakhs All students will get placed by the end of the final year and that's the motive of SASTRA No student will go unnoticed My Plan after my degree is to work in a company

Fees has to be paid every semester . Each year fees increases by around some percent. Overall fees for 4 years would come around 9 laksh rounded off and approx Fees can be paid using loan or directly or even through scholarship Placement happens in the 7th semester starting and continues till 8th semester. Good paying companies visit SASTRA to recruit well talented students

Many Internal clubs are there in SASTRA . Famous event club called Kuruksastra and daksh happens once in every year. Kuruksastra is the cultural event of SASTRA, it happens around april Daksh is the technical fest of SASTRA, it happens in the odd semester KRC(Knowledge resource center) is the library which has all the books and journals needed Every classroom is aided with smart boards and green boards and has a large space Vast amount of ground and separate areas for each game like cricket, basketball, badminton are there NSS and NCC are also present in SASTRA GDSC and DCS is the most famous technical club in sastra that handles the Studentverse app, which is the app for students to track their internals, timetable , attendance and payment due.

There is no specific exam for joining Contains 2 streams Stream 1 contains JEE+Board mark rankings Stream 2 contains only Board mark rankings Many types of rank is available, Tnj rank for thanjavur people, TRY rank for trichy people, TN rank for people in Tamil Nadu not in Thanjavur or Trichy and all India rank for people outside Tamil Nadu Application form and all other application details like fees and dates can be found in the college website circular Can get CSE if the ranking is below 500 atleast There is no reservation based selection , everything is merit-based and the selection is transparent Think transparency, think SASTRA
