MVSR Engineering College- A detailed Review

Electronics and Communication Engineering is an ever-advancing field where you will never fail to come across new developments. The subjects involved in this academic path will never stop fascinating the student. Furthermore, career options are numerous in this field. The faculty at our college have profound knowledge in the subject they teach and they are extremely helpful to students who need time to adjust to new subjects. The teaching methods adopted by our teachers are very efficacious which are reflected in the students' academic record. The term exams are conducted every 5 months to help the students understand and learn the subjects better. In addition to the term exams, we also have internals which make the students more ready for the term exams, and lab examinations which give the students first hand experience with technical equipment used in real world applications.

Students can find many internship opportunities through placement training. If the student has an internship in the 4th year of their engineering degree, the college will be very supportive towards the students' academic growth as the students have to manage both the internship and the academic work. In addition, all the engineering students must do a summer internship after their 3rd year which would help enhance the technical and practical dexterities of the student. The students, after their internship must present a seminar in the college on the project they have taken up in the internship.

Students generally are given placement training from the 3rd year of their engineering. Our college has recruited a famous placement training company to train the students specially for placements. Students are provided with training in coding, aptitude, verbal reasoning and for interviews with the company. Many prominent companies have visited our college for placements like Goldmann Sachs , Accenture, mindspace, cognizant, cisco, Infosys, Wipro etc who have recruited many students from our college. The highest package was 26 LPA and least average package would range from 4 to 5 LPA. Almost 60% of the students in our college have been selected for campus interviews. My plans after degree is to pursue my master's in electronics abroad so I have not participated in the college placements.

The fee structure is quite affordable. If the student is from an economically weaker section, the student will get a great concession after submitting a proof certificate for the same. The college provides intensive placement training which helps the students bag offers in famous companies like Goldmann Sachs, Accenture, etc. The college also provides the students with opportunities to work in internships during the academic year.

I enjoyed my engineering life very much especially because I was a part of our college's official music club. Our college has a fine arts club which includes dance, music, literature, photography and drama clubs which make the students' life more exciting and lively. Furthermore, there will be many fests in the college where the students will participate in various dance and music mobs and also in dramas. And technical fests are also held where the students can present their projects. The college has a well equipped library which has numerous books written by prominent authors for a single subject. The students can also take audio visual tools from the library to enhance their learning experience. Our college also encourages students to actively take part in sports. It has a sports room where the students can play carroms, chess and table tennis. Many sports events are also conducted in our college where students from other colleges can come and participate in different competitions.

Students in Telangana who wish to pursue their Engineering in colleges that come under the Telangana state jurisdiction, have to write the TS EAMCET ( Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) examination after completing their inter (i.e. 12th). This exam judges the student's academic calibre based on the marks they get in the exam and assigns each student with a rank. The students, after acquiring their ranks, can choose their engineering colleges and branch preferences by selecting their options in a special procedure called as the EAMCET counselling which is done in various phases. Once the student locks his options, the colleges will decide whether or not a student can be a part of their college depending upon the college's cutoff ranks and the rank obtained by the student. If a student gets an admit from the college of his choice, he can confirm his position at the college by paying the fees or he can wait for the subsequent counselling phases.
