Dislikes
- Course curriculum is theoretical while it should be more practical and industry oriented.
- Absence of good canteen and food joints inside the campus
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculam is very theoretical but it should be more industry oriented and practical knowledge based. I choose the course because of the University having great placement opps and also due to its location. Student faculty ratio is avg. as class size is 75 but also there are lot of teachers teaching you at a given time. 10-12 teachers are teaching your class. Faculty is highly qualified and pedagogy is again avg. Exams are organised twice in a semester and four times in a year. One mid-semester and one end-semester exam.
Internships Opportunities
After the first year of MBA, various companies provide on campus internships with decent stipend and if you're good enough, you can get PPO during summer internship as well. For MBA, majorly Marketing and Finance profiles are there while for engineering courses , all the tech profiles are there.
Placement Experience
Placements are the best thing about the college and on the higher side due to the vicinity of college to major financial hubs in NCR. Hundreds of companies visited for campus placements including Big three consultancy, American express. Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan for MBA and all other big tech companies for engineering placements. Highest package for MBA was 21LPA and for B.Tech was 54 LPA. Average package for MBA is around 11 LPA. Allmost all the students gets placed
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is on the lower side for a MBA course as it's 1,22,000 for first year and 1,15,000 for second year. Fee hike is as per normal inflation but given all other colleges , it's much lower. The Return of investment is what isUSP of college. Scholarships are available for needy students offered by Govt. of Delhi as well as many private scholarships are also there.
Campus Life
Campus life inside the college isn't exceptional but nearby areas are really good ( DU, Chandi CHowk, CP and all ). Annual cultural fest is 'Tarangana', one of the best in whole of Delhi and is organised somewhere in March. The campus building was earlier ( upto 1992 ) was used by Delhi Technological University ( erstwhile DCE) .Newly Built classrooms and labs are state of the art, older ones are just average. Facilities are available for all the major sports with equipments and courts being there. Extracuricullars of all kinds are also there. There are socities and clubs and even tech teams for almost everything
