The college is overall good. Students who can't afford to go to other states can pursue engineering here .

I took admission here through CGPET (state engineering test). My rank was 643. Admissions here about 20% is reserved through JEE Mains for students from the outer state.

The course curriculum is well and similar to that of other universities across the country. Though the curriculum needs to be revised so that the gap can be filled and graduates become industry-ready. Practical knowledge is equally significant acquired in labs.

No, a stipend is for PG students pursuing Mtech. For UG students, you have to undergo 2 pieces of training whether vocational or industrial. You can also opt for internship wherever you want.

Placements are average. Core companies hardly come. CS/IT get opportunities for campus placements more as compared to other streams. BPO or Sales manager jobs mostly com. They will offer 2-3 lpa depending on job profile. Some of the companies are Jainsoft, TCS, Collabera, Capital Height etc.

Ojas is the techno-managerial fest in the college, mostly held in the month of Feb-March. Students from other colleges also show interest in participation. The fest is moderately crowded. At the night it is beautifully decorated. Students only organize the fest.

The fee structure is feasible and regulated by DTE. Compared to other colleges it is much affordable. The fee structure is approximately 35 K semester wise. Hostel fees are 25K -27K depending on old/new rooms. Hostel fees include mess fees, caution money etc.

Scholarship is available for meritorious students . In each even semesters CV they are awarded scholarship .

Campus life is great. There are cultural clubs . There are NSS and NCC wings in the college. There are photography and dramatics club. There is Astro club. There is much more to be a part of. Students organize their fresher party themselves. Farewell is given by the college.

Mess food for the day is good, at night is average. On Sunday the mess is off. The timings for the 1st-year mess is separate than the remaining years so as to avoid any crowding. Only one mess is there. Mess for girls is available in the girl's hostel itself.

Exams are semester wise. Centers generally allotted is CSIT college. The labs are often conducted in batches so no overcrowding is there in labs. Exams aren't that hectic as they are conducted at a gap of every 6 months. Exams are generally conducted in the month of April-May for even semesters and for odd semesters it is in Nov-Dec.

Counselling and document verification is conducted through DTE (directorate of technical education , Chhattisgarh ) . They will assign you some dates on which you have to complete the essential formalities of the college.The administration is cooperative for newly admitted .

Faculties are experienced and cooperative. Many of them are a Ph.D. holder. They will try to quench your educational thirst in the possible ways. They will use various reaching aids wherever required. They conduct lab sessions in equally informative manner.
