Course Curriculum Overview
This institute's reputation precedes itself and I want to make a career in management and finance, hence Production Engineering is the best way to start in a techno-managerial role. Faculty:student ratio is at a 1:28. All faculty members have PhDs from reputed IITs and NITs. Term exams are frequent and require constant dedication to pass.
Placement Experience
Roughly 80% of all students are placed by the college. Some companies visiting include Qualcomm, Accenture, Audi, Mercedes Benz, Nvidia etc. Highest package for CSE goes up to 58 LPA while for Production Engineering had a maximum package of 40 LPA. I plan to go into a core job corresponding to my department to learn more about management and apply for an IIM, which NIT Trichy will give me an edge over the competition.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is largely subsidized thanks to the funding received from the Central and State governments, making it a very affordable yet high quality and reputable place to pursue a career in engineering.
Campus Life
The campus is 800 acres large, providing ample oppurtunities. Festember is the annual fest held in end of September and Pragyan is the tech fest held in February. The library is extensively stocked and one of the largest in South India. Classroom amenities include fully equipped smart classrooms and centralized air conditioning. Sports is highly promoted and funded by the institute, with the college participating in Inter-NIT and other tournaments of national significance. The Delta Force and Spider R&D Club are responsible for the maintenance and digitalization of every student related need on campus
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are equipped with common rooms stocked with carrom boards and table tennis tables, while rooms provide one cot, table, chair and wardrobe to each student. Meal quality is high and menu is highly diversified with a pan India palate. Registration process is highly simplified and takes minutes to complete and affordability is also desirable.
Admission
The college takes admission through JEE Main. Candidate has to score a minimum of 75% in their respective boards or be in the top 20 percentile in order to apply. A minimum cutoff is required to secure a seat in this institute of national importance
