- My course is the thing i liked the most, including the flexible curriculum.

Dislikes
- The Weather over here is too hot sometimes.
- The curfew timings in the hostel for 1st years , we have to be inside the hostel before 10 pm
- No washing machines for 1st years so we have to wash clothes on our own or give it to the laundry
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in the production and manufacturing process and would like to know more about it and study about it. It also has mechatronics and robotics and industry 4.0 in it.Faculty is good.The faculties are mostly mtech and phd and post doctorate from IITs and they are quite good in teaching. Exams here are CT1 CT2 and end sems and break between them is almost 1 month.It is not that difficult to pass the exams if you attend the classes regularly.
Internships Opportunities
As I am in 1st year i do not know much about the internships, i will have to ask the seniors about this. But what all i have heard from other students is that it is very good and stipened is also good.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester , students become eligible for campus placements.More then 250 compaines visit the college for placements including google , microsoft, amazon etc.Highest package is more then 50 lpa and average is more than 15 lpa.More than 90% students get placed.My plans after getting the degree is to get placed in a good company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is almost 10-11 lakhs for all four years but this can be reduced as many scholarship opportunies are there by many government organisations.Income based fee remission can also be claimed.The placements over here are good so no need to worry.
Campus Life
The fest over here are NITTFEST (conducted in april) , PRAGYAN (conducted in feb) which is the tech fest and FESTEMBER (conducted in sept-oct) which is the cultural fest. Many more fests are there but these are the main ones.Our library is one of the main attractions of the college. It is a huge building and contains over 16700 course related books.We have 2 lecture hall complexes namely orion and logos. Classrooms are good with projectors , smart boards and speaker mic systems.All sports facilities are available here including swimming.Our college has numerous clubs examples are pixelbug, delta, spyder, rmi etc.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are quite big with cupboards, fans, water cooler, clean bathrooms.Meal quality in the mess is very good and the menu is decided according to the students choices.Regestration for the hostel was through nitt.edu site and was quite easy to do.Hostels are affordable.
Admission
Admission was through JEE Mains exam. Application process was through JOSAA or you can apply for CSAB if you dont get in josaa. Eligibility is around more then 97.7 percentile for gender neutral general category.All the forms can be found either on josaa site or nitt.edu site.NO reservation benefits were availed by me.No improvements in the admission process.
