Likes

The sports facilities and equipments provided for recreation is very good.
The central library has books from allw genres.
The college has one of the best alumni network.

Dislikes

The weather here is very bad , in summers it gets very difficult to walk in campus
Is very far from the main city making it yime taking to reach the airport and railway station.
The mess food gets boring after a while , the mess menu is not revised.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I have interest in production management also I was attracted by the fact that in this course we will also be taught supply chain management and other soft skills. The faculty is well qualified with phd and highers from esteemed colleges. We have CTs tests every month and it is of moderate to easy level.

Internships Opportunities

The campus placement cell does a good job in ensuring placements and internships for all. Capstone is a building which ensures students are given trainings to survive in the corporate world. Samsung also takes in students as interns.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Infosys , reliance ,Google , Microsoft are some of the many companies that visited our college. Highest more than 60 lpa and average around 15 lpa. More than 88% people get placed. I will try for placements or go for MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for 4 years B.tech is 10 to 11 lakhs. The college provides income based fee remission and also opportunities for several scholarships. There is approximately 10 % hike every year in the fees.

Campus Life

Our college hosts several fests including pragyan , festember , Aaveg. There are several books on all topics present in the library. Classroom contains fans , projector, benches etc. Many clubs operate in the college ranging from coding to business.

Hostel Facilities

Several sockets are available in the rooms , 2 fans , 2 tubelights 4 beds , 4 chairs , 4 tables. Meal provided in the hostel mess is good taste is average but hygienic. Registration for the hostel was done the day of document verification.

Admission

I gave the JEE examination and qualified it, after I got the result , I applied for josaa counselling. The process thereafter was very easy. Every student who applied for the counselling had to fill in thier personal details and exam results and their college preference in order. Thereafter the josaa site took care of the upgradation and final allotment of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

To be honest it's was not my 1st preference to get admission even though I am here . Reason for rejection is distance from my home town. For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
