Likes

Classrooms are big and we'll equipped with modern amenities.
Sports complex is very big and a lot of sports are there to play.
Bus transport is pretty good and very cheap.

Dislikes

The weather out here in college is horrible.
Food culture is bad. Mess food is not so good.
College is far away from city. No nearby facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I was interested in product design and management. Faculty in this college is well qualified. Student ratio is 4:1. Teaching is amazing. Term exams are conducted three times.

Internships Opportunities

There is a training and placement cell Capstone in college which is responsible for internship and placements. Placement opportunities are there after sixth semester. Internship scenario is pretty good.

Placement Experience

From sixth semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are a number of companies that visit campus during placement to recruit. Microsoft, Google, Tata and many more. Highest package is more than 60 lpa and average package is 17 lpa. More than 90 percent of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee for BTech is 10 to 11 lakh total for four years. It is affordable for many but if not loan services are accessible. There is not much hike in fee recently. Tution Fee is constant for four years

Campus Life

There are many fests held here annually. Like cultural fest is Festember, technical fest is Pragyaan, NITTfest and many more are there. Around two lakh books are there in library. Classroom is modern and spacious. Sports culture is amazing.

Hostel Facilities

Room is big enough. We are 4 students in a room. Hostel is good. Meal is not so good. Registration for hostel and mess was from college website only. Menu of mess changes every month. Locality is not good.

Hostel Fee: INR 98000 per year

Admission

I wanted to do engineering and for that there is an entrance exam which is JEE Mains. I was in 12th and I applied for that and I qualified. It is conducted by NTA all across India. You need to apply online.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
