NIT Trichy - The pride of India

The Reason I choose Production Engineering b.tech 4 years was because from the beginning itself I was interested in production management.The process of making sheet metals, Welding etc.From my childhood itself I had seen many things like this so I was interested in this. The ratio of faculty:Student is also nice...for each department and for each section In department..the faculty is distributed equally... Talking about the qualification as it is the best NIT so all the faculties are highly educated and they teach very well..there teaching method is unique which helps us to get the clarity of the subject's properly....We were giving one month gap for term exam and it was not that difficult to pass the exam if we studied well and attended the lectures properly.It was not that tough to pass the term exam

This year Many big companies visited and gave internship to fellow candidates.The companies were Oracle,Citicorp, Boston Consulting Group which visited in College for internship.The stipend was near about 22lpa for an average company

From 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placement.Many big companies visited Nit Trichy like Microsoft, Disney hotstar, Oracle and they made a good amount offers for the students depending upon how the students gave their interview.The highest package which was given was 630000 and the average is near about 180000.The percentage of students getting placement is 70% in the recent years which can be increased in the upcoming year.After getting the degree I'm planning to get a placement in the software companies

For Bachelor of Technology course for 4 years it is about 10-11 lakhs for each department.For various courses it varies. Well In Nit Trichy there are many options for scholarship as it is a big institution so they provide us multiple scholarship to achieve success.Campus jobs are also nice in the this college.In each and every department students get placed and the campus job placement is around 70% in each department

The fest which are conducted in Nit Trichy are for annual fest:-Festember(A fest to remember) is conducted in October months whereas the tech fest : - Pragyan is conducted in February. In Library there are many different kinds of books to read and they gave an immense pleasure.Classrooms contains full AC conditions and a very good quality of benches and there is also projectors to share presentation. There is a big ground for outdoor sports in the campus and also a indoor sports complex for indoor games.There are also trainers for teaching the respective sports.There are clubs like Spider, Delta,Sigma etc. which are run by students for students

Our hostel room consists of 2 almirah and soft beds and also a night lamp and study table...There is a water cooler for fresh water..There is also common room for group discussion and study.According to me,The meal which is provided to us is good .But it can be improved.The menu is nice but the way the made the food and serve is not that good.There was no such headache for hostel registration process it was conducted smoothly..I not rented a room or PG because we have been provided hostels

I made it into Nit Trichy by taking the Jee mains exam. To get into NIT college we are supposed to play JOSAA rounds and a top NIT needs nearly more than the 97% percentile. I'm so happy that I got Nit Trichy into JOSAA last round. After getting Nit Trichy there were College admission rounds which were conducted nicely. The only drawback I saw during the admission process of JOSAA was they were declaring the round results late and there was an ample amount of lag in the internet during the admission process
