Likes

I liked in majlis college mostly that the infrastructure and the ambience of the college.
There are so many programs in majlis. I enjoyed every program
The faculty all are very friendly and very helpful in studies.

Dislikes

There is no availability of boys hostel in majlis
The management are little strict. Some times they dont give approval for some programs
There are so many camaras in the campus compound.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because i like to study it..and also i wanted a degree in bcom for my future. Faculty and students ratio in majlis - there are 3000 something students studying in majlis college. And also have hundreds of faculty's. The faculty's are very educated and very good at their job. Exams are in every semester. There are 6 semester in degree.

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 11250 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of the bcom course in majlis college is 11250 for bcom ca and 9000 for other bcom courses..the cost for studying in majlis college is normal.not high There is so many scholarships available to the students.

Campus Life

The life at majlis college is very good.there are so many programs like Freshers party, onam celebration, arts fest, sports day, and food fest etc..... And also so many clubs are there in majlis college and so many orientation classes and programs under these clubs. Nss have done great job in college and the society.

Admission

I took admission in majlis in management seat for bcom ca. I paid donation fee of 20000 for the admission. Also evryone who passed with 60 percentage mark in +2 can get admission in majlis. Now majlis college is a autonomous college.

Interview Experience

Yes,there was a group discussion in admission process.. That was for knowing the efficiency of the students. They took my +2 certificate and observed it to know my performance in +2.and they advised me to study well.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

By completing the last semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a very large number of companies recruited from the campus including IT companies like Infosys, Technocrat, etc. The average package is more than 15k.

Remarks:

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.

The best college in calicut city

Remarks:

Our college is the best but the college have not a college bus and a canteen. The students are come to the college with bikes and cars and private bus and students are eating food from out of the college campus and other hotels.
