Likes
- I like the societies in college there are many society in college like dramatics dance technical quizzing and many more the societies of JSS are not limited they go to other college competition and win it also
- I like the campus of college because it's easy to bunk classes
- I like the hostels in college because they create memories as now I am not hosteller but hostel gives you vibe if you are freshers you should take hostel
Dislikes
- College support- college only support student to student but they don't encourage students to do other stuff they give very less funds to society who go and compete to other college
- Hostel facility - there are very minimal seats in hostel as if all students want to take hostel they can't because they don't have enough seats in hostel
- Timing - the timing of girls hostel is really strict so some of my friends can't able to enjoy at night
Course Curriculum Overview
My course IT (information technology) is known to be the best course in JSS as the CSE students faculty are strict and they prepare them for the highest package but the IT faculty is cool and chill and also get placement ???? IT branch is the coolest branch in JSS
Internships Opportunities
I am in 3rd sem so college don't give NOC of you apply for internship but you can do internship if you can able to manage the timings and in 5th sem you can easily apply for internship The teacher force students to get an internship in 5th sem as it is also important for them
Placement Experience
Student become eligible for placement from 7th semester There are many companies who visit JSS I am not much aware about it because I am in 3rd sem but some of them are tech Mahindra, Infosys, UKG and many more The Highest package is about 60 or 70 lakh this year but average are 5 to 7 lakh
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are not provided by college but you can apply for government scholarship and most of students apply for it and easily get their fees back hence if you are struggling to pay your fees don't worry you will get your 50k or 60k back for general or obc candidates and you will get your full fees back if you are SC ST candidate
Campus Life
The annual techno fest in JSS is known as zealicon and it is good so far it is 4 day great event great break from your college studies The library of JSS is very good it have many books all you want The amenities in classroom are not bad the benches are well repaired and furnished each classroom have projector well some projecter do not work but if teacher need to use projector he changes the class
Admission
To get into college yo need to feel JEE mains exam And aktu counselling You will find this application form easily as JEE mains is one of the most famous exam in India Since JSS is a state college it has reservation of 70 and 30 for state and other state students respectively and caste reservation at as per govt rules Well to be honest this is a great college great campus life and great admission process of online counseling of aktu you need to apply for aktu counselling and the if you get this college you need to give physical counseling in college and documents submit
