I choose this course because I like English subject and my future is related to this course that's why...total faculty is 2 and the students faculty ratio is 0:2.. qualification of faculty MSC,bed,M.phil etc..our HOD harikrishnan sir is PhD holder we are proud of it..exam was conducted through the notification of Calicut University and after 6 month 1st sem exam conduct...it's easy to pass after study

Fee structure is depends on which course you select..I choose ba English and my sem fee is 9000 .there are 6 semester thats mean totally 54,000 and there are scholarships like postmetric scholarship and fisherman scholarship

Arts ,College day ,Election victory day ,Onam celebration ,Christmas ,Valentains day ,celebrate in mid term of college days .it's mainly celebrate different programs conducted in students College day celebrated in last time of college days.actually this year we conducted onam celebration, election, victory day,union day, sports club inaugration and now waiting for Christmas celebration and so on

Eligibility of the course is passed 10th&12 with 50% mark and all students must register online with the Calicut University and obtain your cap.for management quota ,candidate can obtain application form from college office.i think admission process is very easy to all

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students
