Internship opportunity is good in NIT Jamshedpur in 3rd year come the visits for internship , is like atlanciers Adobe visits for internship and placement, specialy IT based company come for internship

Placement Experience

The placement of NIT Jamshedpur is very very good. 4th year comedies visit campus and give the packages the highest packages in 2022 is 83 lakh per annum, package of whole NIT is a like 16 lpa, for CSE branch the average package is 26 lpa which is great, package for ECE branch is also 20 lakh which is also good, percentage of NIT Jamshedpur is also good branch like metallurgy production also have the good placement percentage

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees is 62500 per semester and the hostel fees is 42500 per semester which also includes your mess fees, but if you are the student of SEO St category you do not have to pay College fees and also if your income is less than 5 lacs nominated you are OBC or you are general then 2 by third of the fees is remitted and you have to pay. If the income of your family is less than 1 lakh then you have to pay only hostel fees 100% of college fees is remitted for this you have to that's your family income is less than one leg you need the income certificate and you need affidavit.

To be honest infrastructure of NIT Jamshedpur is not that much better a compared to other NITS , many clubs clubs are the best thing that in NIT Jamshedpur have, STRUCTURE OF THE LECTURE HALL COMPLEX IS VERY BEST IT IS LATEST AND YOU FIND VERY GOOD CLASSROOMS, find the campus is open in NIT Jamshedpur that's why the n i r a f ranking of variety Jamshedpur is beyond 100 in 2023, are good every sport first, there is many good love success for dancing singing for coding many sports clubs there are many technical clubs are also there, thing is better than it Jamshedpur and that is the campus is open in NIT Jamshedpur.

Hostel Facilities

In hostel in a first year there is a one room and two persons live in one room second year you got single room for one person, to be honest in my first year till now there is no Wi-Fi in hostel, they install the Wi-Fi but Wi-Fi is not working properly, quality is fine decent not much better but fine it's fine. Registration process is also pretty much simple

Hostel Fee: INR 85000 per year

Admission

For admission in NIT , you have to clear JEE MAIN exam and you must have percentage or percentile of your 12th board atleast 75 for general and OBC , it may vary for SC , ST. You can easily find the application form , and dates on the official site of NTA

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

i have applied for IITs but could not able to get beacuse of slightly lower ranks i didnt get rejection from other colleges as got admission throughJOSSA in NIT jamshedpur admission is solely done through JOSSA . one must take JEE MAINS first then must have a good CRL 0f LIKE 10000 TO 15000 for general category of other state if you are from jahrkhand you can get in lower rank too like 20000 crl rank if you are a general student else it might get lower for the othe category depending upon your category...Read More

Raw and real side of NIT JSR

One of the biggest reason for me to choose this college was, it is the best college with the best average package that I can get on my rank. And it was very affordable for me and I was getting a circuital Branch so it was very easy for me to choose this. The admission process was very smooth you first have to apply for Jossa counselling and in that you have to enter a lot of colleges and based on your rank you will allotted a college and after Jossa finished you also get chance to sit at CSAB counselling, after you get alloted this seat. I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat .
