Likes

Pollution free environment, which gave a break from urban life which is polluted
Nature and surrounding at the time of rainy season
Infrastructure of the campus that departments are planned at one place and hostels are at one place

Dislikes

Away from city so that we can't find shopping kindof things
Food , as I always have spicy food here I can't adjust for the food
No PGs are there in University to accomodate ourselves in that

Course Curriculum Overview

Department of history and the faculty is so good and coordinative with the students as they understand every problem student shares And monthly meetings were conducted to get feedback and suggestions from the students to improve

Class Size: 29Course Fees: INR 17050 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year we have to pay 17050 for ba history course And it's quite affordable but quite expensive And as per the schedule and rules we have NSP scholarship and single girl child scholarship And we can avail other scholarships offered by state government

The infrastructure is very good and library facilities are nice Wifi connection is all over there in University And various Books are available according to the subjects and competitive boos are also available

We have to pay 18549 per semester for hostel accommodation and mess Wifi is available in hostel Security is allotted for every hostel Food is okay here , we can adjust The only thing is that due to climate we have to carry a sweater for cold environment and umbrella for sun

Information about admission process where to go and submit forms Don't know where to go and who to meet So it became difficult It's better to improve the admission process and give clarity at the administrative block itself

A good college for starting your new journey

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, psychology and english optional. The branches of criminology and psychology are upcoming in India in the present time. Course taught is revelant and in present. It is regularly updated. I chose tge course mainly due to criminology. Various aspects of the subject is covered in 6 semesters such as forensic, ballistics, cyber, laws, victimology etc. They do take us on field visits. There is one mid sem exam and one final exam. There is record work as well as assignments given at regular interval. The difficulty level is medium.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.

My experience of CUK

I applied for a few Central University based on my entrance marks. But i couldn't able to make into other colleges due to shortage of marks. When i got selected into this university, the first thing that attracted me was, the varied section of students which gives a platform to explore about various cultures.
