- Corruption, state politics since last two years which is motivated by Rajasthani people,
- Campus Life is not good as expected, in campus that is only one lawn which is also small
- Building self life is too short there is so much corruption, no sports culture
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because in my rank I get this course. Faculty are well educated. Some of them are from IISC AND IIT'S . Professor teaching methods are ok. Some of the professor in teaching are exceptional and there teaching methods is very very good ????. Ex. Dr s.m.yadav sir who teach us hydraulic engineering and , G.D.kale sir who teach us building technology. Mid sem -30 marks End sem - 50 marks 2 quizes- each contain 10 marks One quize before mid sem and one before end sem exam. In exam to getting passing marks is very easy. If u study night before exam well then also u able to pass exam with average score. Some of the professor are repeat the most of previous year question also
Internships Opportunities
There is no good internship opportunity in our college. U opt internship by yourself, by your own talent. College provide research internship under college professor and also for some students in college companies are also there. I have no any internship experience.
Placement Experience
In final year of course ( for b.tech after completing 6th semester) student are eligible for campus placement. Highest placement for civil engineering branch this year is 20LPA. Avg package is 8 LPA for civil engineering department. Average package for coding company is good. It's approx 10 to 12 LPA. Company visted -- l& t, tcs,infocis, byjus, etc Other u check on college website. branch wise placement percentage is different. For computer science it's 100% . My plan is to get coding placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
For b.tech students only-- Semester tution fees - 62500 Yearly tution fees -125000 Scholarship - If ur family income is less than 1lakh per year then u will get 100% scholarship.(125000) If ur family income is less than 5lakh Then u will 2/3 scholarship.(approx 83000) PhD student get stipend for study . Campus job available for security guard, hostel supervisor etc . Note-- MSC student not get any scholarship. And there fees also less.
Campus Life
Annual fest: sparsh Tech fest : mindbend (February both) Mindbend is the Gujarat largest technomanegerial fest. Our library is one of the best library in country. We compared it with an IIT bombay. But it's not open 24*7 like IIT bombay. All academic materials (like journal,books) available in our library. Classrooms are good. Black board (or white) and projector ????? is available. There no good sport culture in college ????. College don't support much sports. College have 2 volleyball and 2 basketball court, 2 lawn tennis ????, 2 bedminton court, 3 teblet tennis, 2 pool ball games. Football ground. One large size cricket ground. But it's under maintenance maximum time. College not having track for running. But good is it's improving ???? Sports fest like MMNCT,etc. In College we have various clubs like CHINTAN PRATISTHAN, NSS, NCC, DRISHTI,SPIC MECAY, MALANG, NIRVANA , Hindi cell, etc. Also , college have various fest such as samiyana, dancing night, surat lit fett. Hostel Facilities
Every student get hostel if they want. 1st and 2nd year student get double seater and 3rd and final year student get single seater room . In room provided Bed, chair and table for study, parda for windows, Lan which is not working most of the time and wifi which is also not working most of the time Meal of the quality depend on seaf which seaf is serving you. Now 1st student in gajjar bhavan that is good seaf alloted this year. And , it's change every year. Those who are living in Swami bhavan they get good food always. Because Swami bhavan is alloted for final year. Mother Teresa bhavan (which is girls hostel) food are best in the whole campus. Generally 1st year student not get good food. Hostel is affordable. Hostel Registration process for 1st year student is offline on the day of reporting.
Admission
In SVNIT we took admission through JEE-MAIN examination. Eligibility as the same as jee main exam. In civil engineering branch there is no specific eligibility is required. In SVNIT we opt admission through JOSSA OR CSAB counseling. I take admission in GENERAL-EWS reservation category. Cut-off of the Civil engineering branch in home state gender neutral general -ews category is 94990 in csan 2nd round. We can cut-off of any college, branch, category etc in CSAB website. Apply for CSAB SPECIAL ROUND, There is high probably that you get admission in your desired branch at low rank
