VIT - A Place To Learn, A Chance To Grow

College is well managed and authorities try to solve the problems of students with quite an ease.

I attempted VITEEE and I got a rank of 12000. I opted for college due to its campus, faculties, and education system. The education system here is quite different than other colleges.

The course curriculum is one of the unique, I have ever seen. We as a student could draft our timetable and choose the faculties. This curriculum has a large variety of courses to offer for any student to learn almost anything. I am quite satisfied with this and this is one of the main reasons I chose VIT over any college.

Yes. My college does provide internships and the field of job is quite vast. From management to technical, students can apply for any field and might get selected. Stipend depends on your experience and the job you are applying for.

VIT has been able to deliver on its promises of 100% placement. VIT, being such a different and unique college influences the big industries to come for placements. 2 students got placed last year in Amazon with a quite high package. Infosys and Wipro believe in VITians and place a large number of students.

We have 2 events organized on our campus. The first one is GraVITas which is a technical festival and spread over the weekend in August. Here, all the clubs and chapters showcase their projects and conduct various workshops to help the students understand the technology. Then we have Riviera which is a cultural fest that takes place for 3-4 days. It's one of the biggest cultural fests in the country.

Fees are quite expensive compared to other government colleges. When compared to private colleges, VIT also has a similar fee structure. Net fees account for around 3 LPA depending on the category in which the student took the admission. It's feasible for the middle-class family.

VIT does offer a scholarship scheme for the top 3 students of each branch. The loan facility is not available here in VIT. It does help in attaining the Bank Loan.

VIT has a great Gender ratio. I think it's one of the best. There are a lot of events organized every week by different clubs and chapters. Workshops, open mic, songs night are quite common here in VIT. Lots of competition and extra activities are performed in VIT which makes it an interesting place to spend the time.

Hostel rooms are quite spacious and the view is almost good in almost all hostels. AC facility is available in some rooms of some hostels. There are 2 Bedded, 3 Bedded, 4 Bedded and 6 Bedded rooms available for the students and it's our choice which room we want. Mess food is also good for students from all the regions.

Seniors here are quite helpful and friendly. They have knowledge of the latest improvements in the technical field and are keen to share it with juniors. I personally have never felt that someone has performed ragging.

Exams are organized properly to keep the students engaged but at the same time leaving students to perform their individual work. Labs depend on our timetable and it never makes us feel hectic. Exams are conducted every month with a proper pre-designed schedule.

A counseling session was organized where we had to choose the desired branch and campus location. The process is quite easy. The form is available online at their website. Students get E-mail notifications for every new step and instructions are within it.

Faculties here are qualified to a very high level. They focus on research and every faculty has the minimum of 2 students under him doing research. Faculties perform almost all the task online and help us understand the modern world. Faculties are quite understanding and they try to co-operate whenever they can.
