Remarks

Remarks are given below:- I've not categorized them (remarks) as good or bad, so you judge all it by your own choice. 1.) College is situated at a very remote location. 2.) Management facility has decreased in past few years. 3.) The campus is small and college is not attractive. 4.) The distance that will be faced by students coming from Dwarka, Vasant Kunj, INA and all is a lot. 5.) Education quality has also decreased if the past few years.

Entrance Preview

I gave the GGSIPU entrance test exam commonly named CET. I scored a rank of 3457 and got this college Chanderprabhu Jain at my first counseling. It was a very exciting moment when I got into CPJ and become a member of the CP Jian family. I chose BBA-LLB course as it was my dream to become a lawyer since I was in class 9thAdmission process was simple, you only need to give the GGSIPU entrance test exam CET.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course is amazing and the faculty available in college is very helpful. The best thing about the course is that it makes one more intellectual and understanding as it is a professional course. The faculty available is very helpful and hence enhances the productivity of the course.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides with internship from second year onwards. If a student is not connected with any of the lawyers, that means if he)she does not have a family member or family friend as a lawyer and hence faces trouble in getting an internship, therefore the college make sure that each student gets good internship experience under good lawyers.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are good enough so that the student achieved success in life and do well in future. Since the college is well reputed and famous the students get good job choices once they graduate from the college. Thus the life of the student would be good and enriched after his college years are finished.

College Events

2.5

The college celebrates a large no. of events that a student could take part into. Some of them are Koi Fiesta, National Moot Court Competition etc. The events vary as per the courses for different students. Like the above-mentioned events us for Fewer students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The structure fee is adequate, after all with good quality of infrastructure and great educational facilities, the fee structure is just. The fee of all colleges affiliated to GGSIPU varies, according to their different perspectives, even for the same course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Chanderprabhu Jain College Of Higher Studies And School Of Law, offer the loan facility to the students from the Punjab National Bank itself. However, a person who does not have an account in the above-mentioned bank could take a circulum from the college regarding the fee structure and all, which would help an individual to get the loan facility from any other bank also.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors and the alumni network are helpful to some extent. The background of students studying at CPJ is very poor however there are brilliant people there too. This is a major issue which is faced by people from well-educated background and schools.

Exam Structure

There are two types of exams, mainly internal exams, and external exams. The internal exams refer to the examinations that are conducted by the college itself. It is similar to the pre-board exams conducted by the schools before the board exams. Internal Exams is out of fourth (40) marks out of which sixteen (16) is the passing marks. To pass the internal examinations it is necessary that a student's scores sixteen (16) or more marks in internal exams. Later comes the external exams. The External Exams are the examinations conducted by the Indraprastha University itself. The external exams are out of seventy-five (75) marks each subject. The passing no out of seventy-five (75) is thirty (30) marks. Therefore, a student must score thirty or more numbers to pass the external examinations.

Admission

To get into any of the college's affiliated with the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) you need to clear it's entrance test exam commonly known as CET. To do so, you must register for the CET examination with all required details like name, address, course and college preferences (college preferences is upto any 4 colleges). After the result is announced, one need to confirm his/her rank and see if his/her chosen prefered college is accepting students upto that rank and so on. If the prefered college or any other IP University college is taking students scoring these number of ranks, then all one needs to do is to visit the college campus and fullfil all the paperwork formalities.

Faculty

1

The faculty available is very cooperative and helpful. All doubts are cleared as soon as possible. Students go through a number of surprise tests, which makes and helps them to enhance their knowledge regarding a subject and ensures that they concentrate on their education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.

After 2 years of integrated courses, you can become eligible for a job. In law, there is no company, but if you have good communication skills, you will be placed in one of the high courts or supreme courts under a senior lawyer. I don't know much about packages. My plan was to go to Oxford University for further studies.
