I would say one of the best and stress free Engineering college a student can opt even he gets an average mark. The bad remark is the nature of the college timings it would be like from morning 8.30 to 4.30 which is similar in all engineering colleges. So they don't burden the students in case of academics and sports.

Actually, I went for Anna University counselling and then I opted for this college. I chose this particular college after vastly gathering information about it. Since my mark was an average one, my family members who are in educational background suggested me as they give importance to both academics and sports as well.

The college offers almost all the courses that are related to the field of engineering. It gives the best arena in case of course curriculum. It has all the courses such as BE ( ECE , EEE ,MECH, AUTOMOBILE,CIVIL, AERONAUTICAL,CSC) and in BTECH(BIOMEDICAL,BIOTECH,AGRI) almost it has all the areas of engineering field courses. It has also been accredited by NAAC for ECE,CSC,EEE for best in class education and also it is the top most college for BTECH AGRI. It also teaches students the agriculture area practically and allows them to gain more knowledge. Even it gives equal importance to other departments like MECH,AUTOMOBILE too.

Internships are major advantage of this college. The college itself takes all the kind of ways to provide internship for the students. As I heard they take internships often and make the students to get into real life application and apply their knowledge. As I am first year I do not know regarding the stipend provided.

Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology is achieving 100 percent placements for the past 8 years and it is the best college of the region. We have more than 30 companies who are giving placements opportunities to the students. And moreover, it is the only college in the region which had given 100 percent placements for the continues 8 years.

There are various events which also boosts the other side talents of the students namely Annual day Kalam (An inter college cultural fest) Powerpuff girls ( various events improving girls strength and knowledge) Hostel day ( An day exclusively for hostellers to enjoy ) Agathiyam ( a day for improving the god of all languages Tamil ) Shakthi's got talent ( To explore the talents in the field of arts )

The fee structure is feasible for this institution. If you get through counseling it's 65,000 per semester excluding the bus fees and hostel fees. This fees is worth it for this institution. Exam fees has to be paid separately during semester exams. The fees structure is not more expensive. Indeed it is surprising a good and valuable education at a lower cost. In case you avail scholarships and sports quota it varies and they provide fee reduction upto your expected levels. They don't burden the parents with a higher amount for engineering degree like other colleges do.

Scholarships are being provided in terms of the requirements by the individual. They provide scholarships if everything are valid for the particular time. They also help students financially to study which other colleges don't do so soon.

Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology has a green and peaceful surroundings has it is being constructed out of the busy city. It provides pleasant place for good education. The gender ratio is also equally managed. There are almost boys and girls are equal in number. They always take a good care in it. This institution is also encouraging sports in a extraordinary way. They have been the Anna University Atheltics Zone overall Champions in boys category for the past 3 years and girls category for the past 6 years. They are the overall Champions in Anna University Zonal cricket. They are the Winners in the Basketball too. Runners in hockey zone and runners in football zone. It has been backing the centies trophy in badminton for the past 3 years. They also conduct various competitions in which students can explore their non academics talents as well. They also encourage them well and good.

The hostel facilities are indeed good. There are separate boys and girls hostel with good water facilities. Per room there are 4 members with individual bed and individual cupboards as well. They provided good food for the students as well. Different menu is provided on different days and weekly twice non veg is provided. In break times tea and snacks are also provided for the students. They boost all the ways they could enrich the student's health. As health is wealth.

The seniors are always the best which I could tell in terms of this college they were so much helpful in guiding in terms of a way to study and ways to score marks in Anna University exams they are the teachers outside of the classroom. They also enhance the talents by pushing them up to participate and explore themselves. They are so friendly in nature and supportive.

The exams are indeed hectic to students but they Handle it in a beautiful way. They do torture students often with exams but they prepare them in a great way to face their University exams as well. The labs are indeed a best in class one and provides the best for the students.

I got admission through Anna University counselling. I went to Anna University for counselling on the call date respectively and further I opted the college and they gave me the counselling letter and administration files which I gave to the college administration and hence my admission was done

the success of the institution depends on teachers on a large scale. In terms of teachers they are so friendly approaching socially good towards children. They get in touch with students often and solve all their problems in case of academics and non academics too. They try to do as much as they can to make students gain more knowledge so they could acheive greater heights in future. The principal and chairman are very much concerned regarding the teachers and always provide the best class of teachers to the students.
