Course Curriculum Overview

I'd chosen "Electronics and Communication Engineering" because of the option to choose between software company and hardware company. The basic qualification of the faculties is "Master Degree". 90% of the professors were all experts in their fileds and incredibly knowledgeable. They pushed us to think creatively, challenging us to go beyond the textbook. Whereas the other 10% of the professors wouldn't make an effort to teach us adequately. The Internal Assessment would be conducted every other month and there would be a lot of daily test which makes it easy to pass the final exams.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Placement Experience

The students from 7th semester with nil arrear are eligible for placements. The most commonly visited companies for placements are TCS and Wipro and many other tier 3 companies. The average package would be 2-3 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure differs for each and every students according to their categories. The fees will be fewer to the students joined by counselling compared to those who joined by the management. The scholarship is again based on category and not on the excellence of students.

Campus Life

There will be a lot of project expo conducted in our college. Atleast 2-3 project expo will be held in each semester. There is no shortage of books and journals in our college. Both technical and non-technical books are available with different opinions from different authors. We can say that amenities in classrooms is not up to the mark. Our college allows students to participate in all the sports conducted by Anna University, but the required practice is not provided. The practices for that particular sports starts just a month before the match. Our college has finest women's volleyball team and men's basketball team.

Admission

I had applied to this College (IFET COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING) through counselling held by Anna University on the basis of cutoff mark obtained in 12th grade. Online application form will be available in Anna University website for counselling. The eligibility of all the courses in "Bachelors" is the completion of higer secondary. There is no entrance exam, if you're going through counselling. For management admission, there is an interview to attend.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.
