Worthy to be a student in NIT JAMSHEDPUR.

My college is superb for those who want to attain knowledge yet the infrasture is nt so good and of being a college of national importance it is expected to have a good infrastructure teachers are good to help you out and do not put extra load on students

IIT JEE I was from beginning only inclined towards engineering and always wanted to be able n IITS but my IIT JEE rank was not that good so i decided to take admission in Nit jamshedpur as its ppacements are very good in the recent years.

As it is situated in jamshedpur wgich has good cmpanies like tata steel internship are easy to find. Also i would like t mention that conpanies like infosys, amazon, TCS, etc come every year to our college and provide handsome packages to the students more than 1companies participate in placement.

Placements are very few good and is improving every year companies with highest package offered such as Tcs( 150 placed at 4.5 lpa), tata motors(11lpa), wipro(8.5 lpa), infosys(7 lpa), IBM(6.5 lpa), godrej(6 lap) belzabar software design PPO(9.5 lap), Ericsson(6 lpa), Hyundai( 7 lpa), Hp( 11 lpa), Maruti Suzuki ( 6 lpa), Yodlee Infotech(9 lpa), philips ( 7 lpa) and over 150 companies participate in placements over 600 students have already been placed this year.

Nit jamshedpur is famous for its tech fest " ojass" and cult fest " utkarsh" ojass is the biggest tech fest in the eastern jone after iit kharagpurs tech fest students from vatous colleges participate with more than 20 lacks prizes to be given various event are organised keeping in view thw students intrest such as coding gaming robotics etc in utkarks varoius bands from all over India participate and show their talents.

Fee structure are feasible semester Fees is about 35000 with hostel rent is about 4500 which is quite affordable for middlw class students mess fees is 13000 per semester which is also quite affordable and for those qho cant afford the fees for those loans are also provides by the college and SBI bank beaides these non refundable fees of 50000 is also taken by the institute as It is government college fees is low as compared to privare institute.

Yes of course loans are provised by the college for poor students who cannot afford to pay the fees through SBI bank scholarship is provided by the institute for meritorious students of each branch which is appreciable besides all these scholarship is provided by various private companies for poor students each year.

Campus life is very different from your school life it provides you a lot of freedom amd at the same time a sense of responsibility towards building you future gender ratio is not up to mark though it not bad aat all boys dominate in the ratio yet there are considerable girls ratio one reason for this could be that girls are not inclined towards engineering as much as boys are.Worlshops are arranged almost every month for students so that we can have a practical knowledge besides having theoretical knowledge college is very strict towards ragging and comments regarding race religion or sex which is very appreciable.

Hostel has been provided with a good Infrastructure with good fascilities of water supply and electricity well furnished rppms with one table and one chair for each student is provided mess food is quite good though not like home food but its good each da

Seniors are supportive and very nice towards the juniours ragging is negligible which is very good for the college reputation i did not had an awesome onteraction with them but the way they use to interact with juniors make us feel comfortable.

I will be honest to say that teachers does not pit too load on us and exams are very chilled out types yet we have to study to get good mark lab assistant are also very good and help us in every possible ways to understand the experimemts.

The faculty is excellent with most teachers share a good bond with the students they are quite friendly and are knowledgeable people curriculum is alao excellent research oriented teachers are always good for atudenta point of view and in this college i f
