Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is quite hard for the fresher. As i opt for the mechanical engineering course, as it is of my interest and i got this course based on my jee mains rank. Faculties are quite good and there are professors who persue experience of many years. Student ratio is quite good in national institutes. Exams are held in three phases per semester- mini, mid and end term.
Internships Opportunities
Interships are provided in the third year of the college. If you are capable of skills required for the company and perform good in academic, will get surely internship. Companies are Atlassian, Microsoft, tcs and many more.
Placement Experience
Placements of my college is quite good as it is NIT and goverment college. By third year you can get intership by the college and placement in fourth year. Many top MNC'S visits our college like MAANG. They offer very good packages upto 85lac per annum. Average package of different branches vary. My branch has average package of 10 lakhs per annum. In my branch, 90% students gets placed. My plan is to take placement from the college in good mnc
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is same for all the NIT'S i.e. tution fees. Hostels fees are different which costs 18500? per semester and mess fees costs 25000? per year. Total cost of study for student without any scholarship is around 8-10 lacks for the course. There are no. Of scholarships which are there for desired one like - NSP, MMVY,FFE etc.
Campus Life
Annual fest is Maffick and cultural fest is toryanad. Techfest is Technosearch. They happen frequently in a month. Our campus have biggest central library. Our college has biggest sports culture and facilities for the sportsperson. Cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis court available. There are clubs and societies running by students whhich includes- E-cell, robaroo, and so on.
Hostel Facilities
There are 11 hostels for different year of students. 2 girls hostel. Mess is inbuilt in the hostel at ground floor. The meal quality was ok ok. Menu is decided by the mess commitee. Hostels are being alloted according to the CGPA of course. I live in hostel.
Admission
The admission process is based on the jee mains rank and it is followed by jossa councelling. Based on cut-off for the college, everyone is being allocated seat accordingly to their rank. Application form, fees and dates are available in the website of the college. There is reservation for SC/ST students. The addmission process is quite lengthy
