GIT Review

Well to summarize our college has a pretty good management system! It can be definitely improved but it works just as effectively!

I gave JEE and scored arnd 85 in them! GIT was a great pick as it had all the facilities i needed in the college where i wanted to do engineering

Well in the first year there are common subjects for all the streams and in second year also you would have some common subjects but as and when you progress the subjects become more and more advanced and the level of difficulty also increases.. All the subjects have been allocated credit which help you achieve a higher grade

No, our college doesn't provide internship outside the college but the college does provide little projects which you can take up if you share the common interest

Well in our college we have two types of events 1. Cultural 2. Technical! The cultural event is called JAZBA which is organized mainly during September October in which we have cultural events and then a DJ party or a concert The technical event is called Techfest which is mainly organized during February

The fee structure is good for some it may bee feasible for some expensive and for some it would not even burn a hole in their pockets.. the college takes Rs 10,000 ten thousand as a deposit which u get when you pass out the college! The fees for the even semester are around 32,000 and for odd around 29,000

No, our college doesn't provide any scholarship facilities to my knowledge but we have the NSP that is the NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL and can apply there if we want to have avail a scholarship

The campus life is pretty good compared to other engineering colleges... We have a very big canteen and extra good library facilities! We have debates and robotic events all in the events discussed above ! We also have international exchange students studying so race is never an issue

Sorry to say but our college doesn't provide any hostel facilities but still i have to write 250 words to complete my review! You can always avail PG facilities and private hostel facilities to stay if you are hailing from other city than Ahmedabad...

As of now i dont have any ideas about the alumni network but when my batch mates and I were studying we had a bunch of helpful seniors who were helpful to us in a lot of ways ! Hope you get the same

Well all the GTU (GUJARAT TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY) affiliated colleges have the common structure for the exams being conducted which is the same for all the semesters you are going to study! We have the unique barcode identification system which gives you an unique identity and makes the results unanimous

We had an online allotment of seats directed by the GTU and managed by the ACPC which is the Admission and Placement Committee which oversees all the admission process and most of the work is done online! But the 4th round is the offline round where we have to go to the college and enquire

The faculty are good over all out of 5 i would rate them a arnd 2.5 - 3 but almost all of the faculties are assistant professors and not professor because they have their Masters going on or are pursuing thier Masters.. The HOD which are the head of the department also are just Assistant Professors with a little but more experience
