Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen btech in electronics and communication engineering because of high proportion of psu jobs and high upcoming jobs in semiconductor industry.The student faculty ratio is barely 1:40.The teacgers are highly qualified with degrees like phd and mtech from IITs.There are two mid sems and one end sems in each semester.The question paper level are moderate and one can have easily good pointers by just attending classes.
Internships Opportunities
Recently some seniors from our college did summer internships from MIcrosoft with a stipend of 1.25 lpm and theere are also various internships offered by psu like ongc bhel.Here in 3rd and 4th year you have to make minor and major projrcts respectively.
Placement Experience
Basically from 3rd year you can sit for internships and placements. On average 30 companies visit every year like HCL TCS DELLOITE SOME college based startups.The highest package was around 11 lpa and min was 4 lpa. Nearly 80% students are placed and rest going for higher education and psu jobs.My plan after getting degree is to do mtech from IITs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for general students is 95000 per year approx and there is no such hike policy as of now.As i was from other state quota i didn't got any financial assistance. And as far as I have seen there are good no of companies and startups visiting college for hirings and placements.
Campus Life
There is one annual fest in november every year.There are huge no of books in library and are easily accessible.The classrooms are moderately equipped with a white board and projectors in each classroom.There are various clubs in college.There is ahuge ground in campus and a gym and a badminton and basketball area.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are in a good condition equipped with astudy table chair and a bed. The registration process is that you have to visit office section of college and pay the amount.There is a installment facility for hostels.The food quality in hostel is average.
Admission
For Admisssion in btech courses here you must have done your 12 th with physics chemistry maths and you must have a valid Jee mains rank.The admission process is that you have to apply for mp dte counselling andit opens after jee mains exam. There are various benefits given to lower caste people and people with low salary range.
