The environment of the college is good. Greenary of the college is Fabolous.
Canteen food is good and affordable. Many stalls are also near about the college
Library is the one of the best place of our campus

Dislikes

Mostly buildings are under construction.
Cleaning of the campus should be improve.
Festival celebration (garba) is the worst.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am student of mechanical engineering department. All the faculties are genuine. Practicals are very effective and informative. Labs have many equipments which improve the knowledge of the student..

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available in our college. Students can do research intership as well as industrial intership. Many companies like jhondeere, reliance , infosys etc. Stipend are nearly 30000.

Placement Experience

The students become eligible for campus placements after sixth semester. Mostly popular companies visited the campus like reliance, l and T, jhondeere etc. Average package is about 5 to 8 lac per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are different for different years. Tution fees are around 60000 per sem and hostel fees are nearly 30000 per sem. It includes mess fees as well. Fee remission is also available. Full fee remission for the student which family income is less than 1 lac and partial fee remission for the student having family income less than 5 lac

Campus Life

Annual fests are mindbend and sparsh. Mindbend is technical fest while sparsh is cultural fest. All the books regarding the technical knowledge are available in the library. Famous magazine and news papers are also available so that student can prepare for the government exams as well

Hostel Facilities

Hostel environment are good. One bed, table and chair are provided by tha hostel. Mostly all the rooms have balcony. Mess food is good and healthy. Registration process for hostel are online. Room reservation is also online

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. Great college for exploring and learning.

I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
