Likes
- I liked the old british era like building structures which is being renovated currently which is a good thing. More new building are being erected such as data science and mechatronics buildings.
- Good sports equipment and playground available for sports such as badminton, volleyball, basketball etc.
- Scholarship procedure and process of paperwork is quite simple and fast process. One can generally complete all scholarship work within a day or so. Teachers are cooperative and tell all the details to be mentioned in forms
Dislikes
- Quality and quantity of faculty teachers is diminishing and becoming poor.
- College administration is not taking various actions for setting up campus placement opportunities.
- Industrial training is not provided by the college which i think they must.. Students are to apply for internships on their own.
Course Curriculum Overview
The mid sem and end semester exams are quite odd. Most of the time they are not conducted timely and often much before the pre scheduled academic calendar timeline. While it is moderately easy to pass the exams but it should not be taken lightly. Bonding with professors and maintaining good attendance can give you an edge..
Fees and Financial Aid
Since I didn't succed to achieve highly good rank in jee mains, I was not eligible for medavi scholarship but being OBC category, I get around 26k per year from MP scholarship scheme. This amount provides me enough for my college fees.
Campus Life
Here one can find many clubs ranging from academics to extra co-cirricular activities, such as JLUG, GDSC for coders, karwaan for social welfare activities, Raag for singers, automotive society for automobiles etc. C cube is one of the club which I had been associated with for a year.. It deals with developing culture, competence and character aspects for the overall development of the students. This all clubs are run by students.
Admission
The students should be informed in advance the documents and paperwork they need to do before visiting college. Admission process usually takes 2 to 3 days which becomes bit lengthy. Professors doing verification need to be polite.
