- Most of the teaching staff is very helpful and are willing to go beyond class hours to help.
- Library is in very good condition with all the course and reference books you will need.
- Indoor Sports facility is well equipped and maintained.
Dislikes
- Hostels are very poorly maintained and are not worth the price.
- Outdoor games except Cricket are not promoted much.
- Non-teaching staff is quite rude and will delay your application if they feel like it.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is much easier here relative to other rgpv affiliated colleges though it is a bit rushed. The faculty:student ratio is roughly 1:20. Almost all the teaching staff are PhD holders in their respective field. While I heard some teachers not teaching well but the one our class got were genuinely willing to help us.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are available from 2nd year but most of the students are selected from 3rd year onwards. Average stipend is around 4-5k per month while some students even achive 10-15k per month depending on their skills.
Placement Experience
Campus placement os ok-ish for top branches like CSE, IT, and CSEBC but not for others. The average placement is around 4 lpa while highest is around 11-12 lpa. Almost all the students of top branches are recruited by mass recruiters.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total course fees is Rs. 86,000 per year for 4 years. In which Rs. 55,000 is to be submitted before the starting semester and remaining after the semester ends. We also have to pay Rs. 2000 exam fees before semester exams.
Campus Life
Life at campus is fairly decent. Library is well maintained with most of the course books available. Indoor Sports building is the also well equipped with 2 wooden Badminton Court, 2 table tennis area and a gym but Outdoor Sports ground is not that well maintained. Meanwhile Hostels are very poorly maintained. Social groups are also of no use but time waste.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is very bad. You can find much cheaper hostel with much better facilities. The mess food is a nightmare. Much of the time we have preferred to starve than to eat the food. If you live in their hostel then you have to pay mandatory minimum mess fees even if you opt to stop eating at mess and buy tiffin.
Admission
Admission is done on the basis of JEE Mains Score and MPDTE counselling. Cutoff for CSE was ~1,70,000 in round 2 and ~2,12,000 in internal branch change for general. Student registration process was smooth and swift.
