Remarks

Overall College is pretty Good except Less attendance, carrying cell phones to college, everything was fine with the particular amount. No importance given to internship and side projects.

Entrance Preview

COMEDK Score: 75 I wanted cse, and this was the best college which I could get according to my rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Subjects are same as the other colleges would have, but the quality of education we get is pretty good, Enough hours are dedicated to a particular subject. There is very less focus to research and side projects.

Internships Opportunities

No. The college does not provide the stipend. For the internship, students have to look for the companies on their own.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements and the job opportunities are pretty average. Most of the students get placed but the package isn't too much, varies somewhere between 3 l.p.a to 5 l.p.a. Mostly service based companies visit the campus and there is very less number of product based companies visiting the campus.

College Events

3

One department fest is conducted by every department of the college and there is one yearly college fest named varchasva. The ethnic day is also conducted. Many students from different colleges visit the campus to participate in the fest activities. Hackathons and technical seminars are also conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is two type of fee structures. People taking admission with COMEDK have to pay around 2 l.p.a (tuition fee) and 80,000 (hostel fee). People taking admission from CET have to pay around 1lakh less as compared to COMEDK fee. The fee is really high according to the education and facilities are given.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. The college does not provide such facility. However, there are scholarship programs launched by the university which csn be availed by people belonging to backward classes.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is really strict and there are rules for everything, it's more like a school than college. However students are allowed to wear casual dress. The gender ratio is good (1:1). People from different parts of India come here to study and there are no biases.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel rooms are good to live in. There are 2 types of rooms, 3 people sharing single room with common bathroom, 2people sharing room with attached bathroom. The hostel fee is 80,000 per year for 3 sharing and 85000 for 2 sharing. Food given the hostel is pretty average.

Exam Structure

There are totally 3 internal exams which are conducted every month for 3 months and there is an external exam at the end of the semester. In between, there are assignment exams. So the exams always keep students busy. There is also 2 lab internals for both the labs.

Admission

There was 2 round counseling in bangalore, had to make a DD for 50 thousand. In the first round I got sapthagiri college, I got SJB institute of technology in round 2. The DD was submitted in the first round and I was allowed to choose a college. I was called again in round 2 if i wanted a college upgrade. After getting the confirmation I came to the college, filled the form and paid the fee.

Faculty

4

Teachers here have done M.TECH and PHDs but are only focused on the syllabus accurately and interaction between student and faculty is pretty good. The quality of teaching is really good.
