- Campus is so good , specially the peacock garden.
- All the facilities are very good, food is very good in campus mess .
- Professors are highly qualified. They are doing research on various field (V.chintala)
Dislikes
- In first year you have to stay in stanza living.I hope they built their own hoster for first year students.
- Management are not so supportive. They are too rude .
Course Curriculum Overview
GSV is under ministry of railways. All the courses are aligned with the transport and logistics. All the facilities are highly qualified. Most of them are from IITs . Exam took place on time . It's a very difficult to pass the exam. All the prof. are very strict and set their paper upto a very good level.
Internships Opportunities
Mainly , students got their internship in PSUs. In first year, BLW and CLW( Chitranjan Locomotive Works) , in second year you can get internship as per your skills in PSUs and private companies also. Most of the company are core company which are related to railways
Placement Experience
As this university is started in 2022 only so there is no batch has placed right . Earlier this university was known as national rail and transportation institute so students were placed. Almost everyone got good job . Here you can directly recruited by PSUs .
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee are same as that of IITs which is of about 10 lakh , There is a merit based scholarship which is provided to top 20% students. In first year you can avail scholarship as per your jee percentile and from the 2nd year your cgpa will decide the scholarship.
Campus Life
Central library is available. You can get books and study there in day time . Sports facilities are not so good as campus is not so big .but you can get a beautiful campus with lots of greenery and peacock.
Admission
You can get admission in GSV through JEE Mains . If you have 95%ile you can easily get admission in top branches. Admission form are available on the website. Reservation on the basis of caste .There are 5 branches AIDS, ECE, EE, ME ,CE with common specialization in rail engineering wrt to your branch
