Course Curriculum Overview
Electronics and telecommunication as a course is very good and scoping. In today's world, electronics market is a very vast and growing. The course is so deeped and very good as required for today's field. The faculty at the department is very good and supportive. The HOD of our department is a very supportive person. The guidance of her made this department a disciplined one. Teacher's also do their work as their passion. You must have curiousity about how things work, then only you will scope in this branch. All faculty are majorly professor level and some are with over 30+ years of experience in teaching. Exams in college are little extended over all the times. There are 2 mid semester tests and one end semester tests. The two mid semester tests are always late but the only one end semester test are always on or sometime before the scheduled time. For passing, you only need to study 2-3 days. As the course is easy and all the resources are available on YouTube. And teacher also help
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is very nominal. Only 30000rs approx is the college fees and all types of scholarship i.e state scholarship, central government scholarship are provided. Jobs and placement are available. Approx 10-15 company come in college and over 150+ students got placed.
Campus Life
There is one annual fest named "Aavahan" a summer fest and many tech fests. Library is very vast over 10,000+ books are present there. Facilities in classroom are good. Smart board and speaker are present. All sport activities come under Aavahan fest. Over 15+ clubs are present. Approx 400+ members are in all cultural groups.
Admission
For entering Jabalpur Engineering College, firstly you have to give JEE entrance exam and score good percentile and then you have to go through counseling process, which is a lengthy game and tests patience. Then we have to verify documents in college, then college takes approx 15-20 mins for verification. There is approx 1000rs application form fees. The cutoff is approx above 250000 rank. You want a good percentile to come here. For Improvement, college must need an online document verification portal for time management. All other processes are fast and quick. Another thing, college also need an online payment facility for students.
