Hostel facilities and the amenities which I got provided by the hostel for free.
In college Faculty are friendly and supportive towards the student.
The campus life is good and the fest is also awesome in the college.

Dislikes

As belonging from the north India I have the language issue
The non teaching staff and peons of the college cant able to speak English and for that someday we can't able to know what they are telling and also they can't understand what we are telling.
The attendence percent of the college is very strict which is compulsory to have 75%, by which you can't have extra time to learn extra from online source.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Computer Science and Engineering because I want to be future software Engineer as I love the technology. Student in CSE dept is more as compared to other department in college. Faculty are also well educated and supportive towards students. Teaching method varies from faculty to faculty. As their is both the option of smart board, Projector as well as chalk and board method. Exam is conducted in every month and if you will concentrate in class definetly you will score more than pass marks in both internal as well as semester exams.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All the government internship are provided by the college. As well as If you got placed company will keep you intern for the 1 month with stipend of 15000. In study period itself you will have to make 1 Community service project and 2 minor project after that it comes the major project.

Placement Experience

At the end of 6th sem onward if the student has no standing backlog are eligible for the campus placement. 1000+ companies are visiting college every year. and requirting the 98% of students. As of know the lowest placement offered in of 350000 and the highest placement offered by amazon of 4400000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of the college tiution fee for me is 250000 but for scoring good in JEE I got the scholarship of 50% and currently I am paying as 125000 rupees annually. And for the hostel fee I took standard Non-AC room and I'm paying 97700 rupees anually.

Campus Life

Annual fest for the Vel Tech is LAVAZA which is conducted in every year for 3 days. It is a Night fest which starts from 6pm to approximately 1 am. Libarary is seperated with different department as books.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is worth with the price . If you are non-vegeterian it is worth of money to live in hostel as in food they are giving chicken everyday except only on saturday in some festival days. although their is veg and non-veg mess seperated but non-veg food is more good compared to veg food. Facility in room I got personal cupboard for keeping belongings, 1 personal table, 1 personal chair, 1 personal cort, 1 mattress, 1 pillow,1 peronal bucket,1 personal door mat. roomas are attached with bathroom in every room. with wash basin. I got free laundry, free gym, ground of every different are their, free wifi is availaible, and water cooler in every floor is common where you can go and fill the water. Nearby by hostel itself their is lot of rental rooms are availaible if you want to rent as 3 to 4 PG is also availaible in nearby.

Hostel Fee: INR 97700 per year

Admission

Egligibilty for this course is that you have to complete you 12/10+2 with science stream including maths. Application form is available both in online as well as offline for online visit to college official website veltech.edu.in. the form cost you around 950 rupees. exam will held on both PPT as well as CBT in two Phase and 2 slots in both the phase. For Phase 1 slot 1 last date to apply is 1st january 2024 and exam will held in between 4th jan 2024 to 7th jan 2024. For phase 1 slot 2 last date to apply is 19th feb 2024 and exam will held in between 22nd feb 2024 to 25th feb 2024. For phase 2 slot 1 last date to apply is 1st april 2024 and exam will held in between 4th april 2024 to 7th april 2024. For phase 2 slot 2 last date to apply is 17th april 2024 and exam will held in between 20th april 2024 to 23rd april 2024. As I know their is no reservation category or benifit. In admission their is also management quota and NRI quota .

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues.
