Course Curriculum Overview
• Since my childhood I was fascinated by computers, this made me to develop a passion in the computer science and engineering course. I always wanted to explore how computers work and how something is created using technologies in the computer field. There are many opportunities in this course field. • The faculty: student ratio in the university is quite good. The university ensures that the students receive adequate education , knowledge and guidance from the faculty. The faculty creates a supportive and engaging learning environment for the students. • The faculty at the Gitam University are highly qualified and experienced. They hold Ph.D degrees and are experts in their areas of specialisations. The faculty use various teaching methods like lectures, interactive discussions, conducts quizzes and projects to ensure comprehensive learning. • Semester examinations are conducted after every 4-5 months. It is not much difficult to pass the exams if we study and prepare for the exam
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offer internships for the students at the Gitam University. Some companies offer internships with stipends and some provide internships to gain knowledge. The internship projects help the students in enhancing their knowledge, understanding and skills.

• From 6th semester or 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. • Companies visited are: Amazon, Amara Raja, Accenture, Cyient, Genpact, HCL, HSBS, HBL, Mindtree,TATA, Talentio, Virtusa, Wipro, ZenSar, Justdial, Reliance Jio, Sonata, ValueLabs etc.. • Highest Package : 32 LPA Average salary: 4.9 LPA • 90 percentage of students getting placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee or cost to study for the BTech Computer Science and Engineering course is around 3,00,000 per year at the Gitam University. Scholarships are provided for the students based on the student's score and performance in the GITAM GAT examination. Fee can be paid as a whole of 3,00,000 at once for the particular year or can be paid for each semester of amount 1,50,000. The college also provides an EMI facility to pay the fee. Campus Life
• The biggest fest that is conducted in our college is "Pramana". It is conducted for 3 days in the month of February. • Gitam Knowledge Resources center is the library at the University. There are vast and huge collections of books and journals available in the library. • The classrooms have good infrastructure with a boards, projectors, computer and screens, comfortable seating benches, Wi-Fi connectivity and many classrooms are air conditioned. All the classrooms are under CCTV surveillance. • The university has a big playground where students can play sports like volleyball, throwball, basketball, cricket, football etc.. There are indoor games also. • There are many student clubs in the university which have cultural, educational, recreational, entrepreneurial and scientific genres.
