Best part of my life.

College life here is better than any other college in Chhattisgarh. The management is good enough and provide the students with many opportunities and platform to prove themselves.

I took Chhattisgarh pre-engineering test (CG-PET), which is the entrance exam to get admission in any engineering college in Chhattisgarh except IIT or NIT. I got 1622 rank in CG-PET and opted for computer science and engineering from this college with the help of counseling. This is one of the best colleges in Chhattisgarh. My elders suggested me to try to get into this college as it has a great reputation in Chhattisgarh and all over the country.

The course curriculum is great enough. Each branch has got many elective subjects and students here are free to choose any elective subject of their choice.ALl the subjects that require lab is provided with one. The faculties here are highly qualified, gentle and hold different PhDs. College focuses on research too.

The college provides summer internships during the vacation. Each branch has different programs going on for the internship purpose. The amount of stipend depends on the amount of time and work done by you.

All the students who wanted to get placed, gets placed here. There are ample of companies that come here for recruitment. Some examples are TCS, Nestle, Capgemini, Genpact, Motif, Tech-M, Byju's and many more. The highest package offered here is 10 lakhs and average package offered is 4 lakhs.

We celebrate our annual techno-cultural sports management fest "SAMVID" which brings all the students and faculties from all the branches and fields together. The budget goes around 25 lakhs and the money is collected by the students in the forms of sponsorship. Also bollywood celebrities such as Ayushman Khurana,Jubin Nutiyal, DJ Suketu, Shahid Mallya and many more has visited our college during the time of SAMVID.

The fees here is equal to the fees of any other engineering college in Chhattisgarh. It's around 36,000 INR per semester. I don't know it is called feasible or expensive. Also hostel fees is 50,000 INR per two semesters, which includes mess food also.

There is one known facility that I know about. In this scheme the student is provided education loan in which he can study free for all the years and pay the fees after getting a job.

Campus life here is great. The campus is large enough, and requires a vehicle to visit it completely.Approximate gender ratio here is 40 girls per 60 boys. It is highly diversified as students from different areas and culture come here for studying. There are 4 buildings, 1 administration block, 1 central library, one canteen, 3 hostels, and numerous gardens in the campus.

There are two hostels for boys(one for first year students and other for all other year students) and one girls hostel. Each hostels are big enough and can withhold all the students studying in the college. The rooms are shared by two to three person according to the convenience. Girls hostel include swimming pool too. The food cooked here is good and different daily.

Aluminis are invited in the alumini meet, that is organised every year. Also they are invited in our annual fest SAMVID. The alumini network is strong enough and they guide the students very well.

It is neither hectic nor chilled out. The timetable here is set in such a way that both exams and labs are given equal importance. Exams are taken in first period while labs are taken in last two periods. The questions asked in exams are discussed after the exam.

There are 8 branches available in this college. Each branch has about 120 seats. The seats are filled with the help of counselling. Being one of the best colleges in this region, the seats of this college gets filled faster than any other college. Even I got my dream branch in second counselling. After getting the college, we went to the college premise for enrollment and other formalities.

The faculties can be approached in staff room,whenever required in the time span of 8.00 am to 5.00 pm from monday to saturday. Also the faculties are so kind and gentle that they provide you with their phone numbers so that you can contact them whenever needed.
