SRM NCR CAMPUS

srm ncr campus is average college with all basic amenities but one should opt for the main campus rather than coming here

i gave srmjee and score a rank of 26k and main reason to opt this college was that it is a part of reputed college srm and it was near my home

the course is quite up to date with keeping in mind with the current demand market but yet there are still some subjects that they are teaching us which is completely unnecessary as per modern times. they also add soft skills and aptitude to our course to help in all-around development and during placement.

no college does not provide internships. you have to put your own efforts in order to get internships. seniors are quite helpful in arranging and informing about internships offer.

well, srm is known for its placements records and in final year we have to go to main campus in chennai for placements. for computer science the placements are pretty good and mostly about 75 % of students get placed while placements for non-cs branch is not that good.package starts from 2.5 lacs pa offered by mass recruiters and it goes as high up to 10 lacs pa

college main event is rubaroo which includes no of events like fashion show skits dramas contests debate group discussion griffati painting etc. it occurs on a large scale. innovate is the technical event of the college and a lot of exciting techs can be seen on this event while vajra is the sports events which are not as big as the other two.

the fees are a little expensive. it costs 2 lacs for any branch u take. hostel fees are around 50 thousands while mess fee is around 45 thousand and 6 thousand is the laundry charges that is not optional and 5000 for gym which is optional. so overall it is around 3 lacs 10 thousand rupees

a lot of scholarship programs are present. it includes scholarships for jee main toppers srmjee toppers students with exceptional performance in sports and scholarships based on economic and caste

campus life is a little boring with nothing new to do. just make some good friends and u will be fine. boys are very large in number as compared to girls. there are various societies like stage and ivs and expressions and u can choose those according to your interest. all students live are very friendly with no discrimination on any basis

The hostel is not that good as compared the fees that they are taken also in the first year you have to take a room which is triple sharing.the food of mess is average proper sanitation is present in the mess. you can easily get a pg just outside the hostel for about 70 thousand rupees and they are quite affordable

college seniors are quite helpful. alumni network of srm is very large and strong and also they will help u if they know that u are also from srm

labs are the periods that we love to attend these help to get practical knowledge. well srm lab is well equipped but not much focus is given in the lab by faculty really to make students learn something. exams are quite hectic as there occur in almost every 20 days including internals

FIRSTLY I WENT TO THE CAMPUS ON THE COUNSELLING DAY WITH MY ADMIT CARD SCORECARD AND FEES DD. THE PROCESS OF ADMISSION WAS VERY SMOOTH EVERYTHING WAS DONE IN PROPER SEQUENCE BY FACULTY PRESENT THERE AND WITHIN 1 HOUR IGOT MY ALLOTMENT LETTER. AFTER THAT WE WENT TO HOTEL SECTION TO SEE OUR HOSTEL IT WAS AVERAGE AND HOSTEL BOOKING IS DONE ONLINE.

well honestly speaking faculty is quite average. of course, there are some excellent teachers in every stream but some are also not up to the mark. mostly all faculty are helpful and cooperate with students. while some are quite rude and arrogant .there are some faculty which are from the south.
