My Life journey in JEC.

Well.. there was no strong reasons with me to choose this course.. As my jee mains rank was quite low which landed into industrial engineering branch but later Upgradation fall me into this branch. While faculty to student ratio is quite low here. Overall most guest faculties are gate qualified teachers but there are hardly any senior professors available. Course curriculum is based on AICTE syllabus which is quite up to date as per standards. Most of the time exams are not conducted timely and often clashes with other major events in college.. But management smartly deals with such situations and gives students seamless exam preparation time. Exams are moderately difficult to pass.

Last year 2022-2023, no companies appeared in campus placement drive.. However this year, after the students protested in large numbers, management agreed to work upon it. This year TCS and cognizant arrived from software industry while L&T was also the one in the list. During 6th sem.. Students become eligible to appear for placements here.. Recently highest package offered was around I think 12 LPA while lowest being 1.5.. Around 70 to 80 students from tech background get placed. While still most go either for off campus and gate preparation. In off campus students get even 50 LPA while one or two 1 Cr. (But oof campus is often complex process and everyone take such risk)

The fees structure is quite non objectionable.. All the fees are very mind minimal.. One can study here at a very low and affordable price. It's around 23k per year but with added benefits of scholarship schemes run by MP govt, you will have to 'zero' fees as you can avail 28k per year.

There are few tech fest conducted here that too on a quite small scale.. As there are different clubs who are responsible for conducting such events.. But thr club size is generally small. You can find here clubs of various interests such as C cube for personality development, karwan for social care activities, GDSC for google developers, JLUG, automotive society etc. Libraries do have ample number of books but sometimes important ones are reserved for SC/ST only.. There are many sports equipments and playgrounds available like volleyball, basketball etc. Classroom are normal school like only.. But few are like the ones that you can find in 3 idiot movie.

The application process was bit of messed up. We were not informed in a advance about the documents that we had to carry for the admission. In order to enroll in this college, you generally have to qualify cutt off.. The candidates belonging to SC/ST have greater fees reduction as they can avail around 30k per year which can be used to reimburse college fees. Admission process needs to improve in terms of smoothness and hectic free.
