Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum at this university is excellent and the academic standards are also impressive. Unlike most universities, classes are conducted regularly. The faculty members are great and always willing to help. If you have any doubts or questions, simply ask the faculty and they will clear all your doubts in the moment. I have heard that the School of Business Studies has particularly helpful teachers. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1:10. Each faculty member holds a PhD degree in their respective subject, and some even have double PhDs. Regarding their teaching skills, I would say they are average. Although they don't necessarily engage students, they are competent enough. Overall, I would rate their teaching a 5 out of 10. After every semester, there are exams, and before the end semester exams, there are internals. The papers are not very tough; they are quite easy. Overall, I would say that they are average.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university charges around 11k for odd semesters and around 7k for even semesters. There are no scholarships provided by the university and most students opt for higher education instead of placements. There has been no increase in fees and the cost of studying is acceptable.

Campus Life

1.5

Campus life is not very good, to be honest. There are NO CLUBS here and the infrastructure is okay. I would like to tell you that every department has the SAME design. There is only one annual fest named ANKUR that is conducted probably in February. It includes sporting events and a bit of cultural events. The department individually can do a fest if the students come together which is a rare moment. The library here is average, has books and a reading area. Every classroom in our school is air-conditioned, but some work better than others. Additionally, only my department has good-quality tables and chairs, while other departments have average one. There is no notice board available in this place to share information. As a result, you may not be aware of events until after they have occurred. To get to and from the department from the hostel, you will need to take a long walk, which is very inconvenient. Electric vehicles are available, but they are not being used for transportation.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are several hostels, each with different features. The quality of the hostel you get depends on your luck. Mess food quality is inconsistent. Although it is served three times a day, it may leave you hungry by evening, and you need to arrange your own food at the evening times. I would rate it 5 out of 10. Registration for hostels can only be done online after admission.

Admission

I took the entrance exam CUET to get into the Central University of Karnataka. The admission process was quite simple because it was online, I checked the merit list and fortunately, my name was on the 1st merit list so I just paid the fee online through the Samarth portal and got admitted. This university accepts the score of the General Test from your CUET scorecard. The application form, fees, and date can be found on the university website. I would suggest an improvement that when I saw the merit list and got my name, the university immediately updated the Samarth portal to pay the admission fee the very next day but after payment of the fees I was very confused because I didn't get any updates regarding the commencement of classes, I got the mail late and it had created trouble for booking of train tickets and reaching university on time.

TAPMI has various other colleges in the campus as it's neighbours. So I have seen those placements as we will be the second batch to qualify for placements. TAPMI first batch is yet to be placed but TAPMI Manipal UG placements would be likewise only as we have been assured of that.

Placement Experience:

For project work various corporate houses have inked deals with TAPMI and therefore even though no batch of BBA Hons has been placed so far but those are the organisation who will take our services. For our services our university has set of standard of 5 LPA. So I feel median would be more or less upto 8-9 LPA.

I was first to register and i hope I become the first student at TAPMI to have placements as well. Placements will begin for TAPMI Bengaluru for the first time in 2026 December and the wait is on. As far as the history and TAPMI Manipal who is our sister college goes, I think each student will be having an offer letter of 5-10 LPA.

Students become eligible for placements from the final year of their college. Huge companies like Deloitte, Grant Thornton, Federal Bank, EY, TCS and many more come for recruiting the students from the college. The highest package offered is 8 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA. 80-90% students get placed every year. My plans after completing my degree would be to get placed at a good company so that i can get the required work experience to continue with further studies
